11th Annual Camp Sweeney’s Play for the Day 5K & Festival

8AM Race Check-In, 9AM 5K Start, 9AM to Noon Festival

Join us for our 11th Annual Play for the Day 5K & Festival. Festivities include a live band and dancing, Memorial Day celebrations, and Kid Zone ride and games.
5K Timed Race – $40 – Certified course is timed with age/gender/overall placing recognition.
Family Fun Run – $30 – Fun for everyone.
Virtual Participation – $30 – Cannot attend but still want to participate, you can create a team, raise money to help a lot of great kids all from the comfort of home.
Sweeney is a special place for LJ. For 3 weeks he feels like everyone else, not different b/c of the finger sticks, beeping pump, carb counting, or sitting out b/c he went “low”. March 4, 2021 he was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes and it changed our family’s life. In the beginning it was completely overwhelming and difficult to navigate. Now, with the help of Camp Sweeney it is 2nd nature. Louie still has his days that he hates being different, but the days are fewer and farther apart. Please help us by donating to help send a child that cannot afford Camp Sweeney attend this phenomenal camp. any donation would be greatly appreciated and join us this Labor Day for a 5K run or 1 mile walk. This is a VERY kid friendly event and we would LOVE to see you there!
