Arts and Crafts
Justin Long and Colton Taylor perfected their light blue colored candles today! We are so proud of Lily Glancy for trying something new in class! Cannot wait to see your other crafts! Carson Conroy is a ball of sunshine and has been my biggest helper all session. Love having you in class, Carson! Today’s 3rd period COD was Kaleb Jarmon! He was so helpful and giving, helping others with their tye dye, and overall being an amazing Sweeney camper!
Basketball
Basketball COD’s are Kylie Calvert and Kaiden Blankenship. Kylie was very inclusive and helpful at the four square spot. Kaiden did a great job of getting excited and jumping right into a ballgame!
Boating & Canoeing
Our boating and canoeing CODs are Anna Johnson and Wynn Behnke. They both had an awesome day fighting pirates on Lake Dealey. Yesterday’s COD was Jaxon Schwichtenberg. Thanks for all of your help!
Challenge Course
Congrats to Terry Jackson, Zachary Gatteys, and Andres Saez for climbing the power pole today and overcoming their fears!
Cross Country
Drew DeVault was camper of the day for eating huge hills for breakfast. He even beat the tractor back to the SAC!
Fishing
Cooper Shackelford set a personal best for fish caught in one period! Five fish makes for quite a day! Ryan Tabor netted the largest catfish we’ve seen this session! It has to be a close relative to Bert! Seth Hoppenstein has been a rockstar all session helping everyone around him with any fishing needs. Cheney Parkhill kept her pole in the water like a true fisher-woman, even during a slow class period.
Riflery
Lucas Boling and Michael Cannon are our CODs for destroying all those clays and making the hard shots at the top of the hill! Great job, guys!
Riflery ADV
Lane Crochet is our COD for taking down those clay pigeons and being a great sport today! Good job, Lane!
Rock Climbing
Abby Davis had some awesome patience, courage and speed climbing the rock wall today! Congrats!
Rocketry
Nathan Rogers did an amazing job at prepping his rocket for takeoff. Even NASA would approve! Way to go, Nathan!
Swimming
4th period swimming COD was Caitlin Reeves! She has been taking in the sun enjoying the Camp Sweeney weather. We love her enthusiasm!
Swing Dance
Our COD in swing dance today was Savannah Warford! She busted out some wild dance moves during the freestyle. Awesome job, Savannah!
Tennis
CODs were Kade McCullough and Terry Jackson for being a fine dynamic duo!
Volleyball
Bump, set, spike! Jaiden Wiswall killed it on volleyball with her supportive attitude and energy. We love you, Jaiden!
Waterpark
Eliza Milne was super patient when waiting for the tube and was really friendly to all of the other campers. Charlotte Vialeton was super energetic on the tube and in the water! Grayson Smith took 2 hard falls off the tube and never stopped smiling!
Weightlifting
Congrats to Kayla Cates for her hard work pumping iron in weight lifting!
Zumba
Our final Richard Simmons Tuesday went well with everyone dancing! Bailey Goodrum and Caroline Sarver worked hard today and earned COD. Good job ladies!
