Period 2:Today’s artsy Camper of the Day is Ashley Oliver! Ashley went marbles with marbles and all things shimmery and shiny today while making her catchers! FANTABULOUS job Ashley!
Period 3: COD for arts and crafts is the marvelous, magnificent, Marianna Peters!! Though she found herself in a sticky situation, she made an astounding sun catcher that is just waiting to shine! Great Job!

Period 4: COD is Samuel Hernandez!! Not only was he super engaged in a creative artsy rendition of hangman, but he also spilled some serious superhero knowledge!!
Period 5: COD is Lance Hoppenstein!! Lance did an awesome job in taking creativity and imagination to the next level and was also very helpful! Super job, Lance!
Baseball
Fourth period baseball came to play on this sunny Tuesday afternoon. There were too many catches and hits to count. COD Lane Crochet set himself apart from the rest when he made plays of a high baseball IQ and brought the energy to his team. Nice job, Lane!

Fun was had by all today at the Sweeney field. Camper of the Day, Caden Petty demonstrated some serious skills in the batting and pitching contest while keeping a positive attitude and exhibiting patience. Awesome job, Caden!
Basketball
COD Everett Shultz went up against some tough match-ups in today’s scrimmages, but what he lacked in height he made up for with heart. He went 110% all morning and drilled some tough shots. Way to go, Everett!
Basketball ADV
Markus Hutson had to fill in for his fellow campers a few times during today’s scrimmages but lost no energy or enthusiasm while doing so. He was great on both ends of the floor and hustled hard. Keep it up, Markus!
Basketball Outdoor
Josh Wilson was money today and couldn’t seem to miss a shot. He was his teams go-to on offense and was overall an awesome team player. Great job, Josh!
Broadcasting
Period 1: Spunky and creative, she’s got it all! Shout out to our host, Ellie Finch, for her awesome performance today!
Period 2: Do you “sea” what he did there? Our COD is Garrett Hicks, comedian extraordinaire!
Challenge Course
Period 1: Big shout out to Lila Downing day two of the challenge course. Even though we were pushed against the clocks, she was able to conquer the top. Keep reaching for the sky!
Period 2: Clap, clap, clap, to Allie Grayson and her stellar performance on the power pole. She’s moving on up and no one can stop her.
Period 3: The biggest round of applause to Will Lenamond for the fastest climb we have ever seen. Don’t stop for anything!
Cross Country
Today’s COD is Samuel Hernandez for his dedication to completing the runs and optimism when running gets tough. Great job Sam!
Disc Golf
We had an awesome shotgun Tuesday today! We had tons of fun flinging discs and chasing them down. Our COD’s were Dorian Carra, for always hustling as soon as he threw , and Noah Kauffman for nailing a smooth hole-in-one! Great job guys!
Fishing
Period 1: Emmett Kempka, our COD was absolutely WRANGLING, catching 2 fish and touching his first fish ever!
Period 2: Mackenzie Criswell did absolutely amazing today helping other campers take fish off the hook!
Period 4: It was a fine time during fishing 4th period due to helpful Dylan Bell. Dylan did a great job helping out the younger ones while reeling in a few of his own!
Period 5: COD goes to Gillian Magruder for trying something new and fishing while also inspiring her friends to follow suit.
Hiking
Ezra Boardman and Emmett Kempka were the life of the party at hiking making everyone laugh and smile!
Lacrosse
Today in lacrosse, David Moore absolutely killed it!!! He was perfecting his passing, crafting up his catching, and leading his scrimmage team to victory as a captain!
Mini Golf
The COD for mini golf was Seth Hoppenstein for his sacrifice of his own time in order to teach others. His leadership and kindness was contagious to the rest of his group. Nice job Seth!
Paintball Combat
Hey Camp Sweeney! In first period paintball combat, our COD was Dominic Johnson for is tactical maneuvers that led to victory in Protect the President!
In third period, Jaxon Schwichtenberg showed courageous leadership to his team earning him COD!!
Paintball Jr.
HELLLLOOOOO Camp Sweeney! Today in paintball jr. Ezra Boardman showed off his sharp shooting skills during target practice! His jaw-dropping accuracy and positive attitude earned him the title of COD!!
Rocketry
Our COD goes to Christian Nicolas for quickly catching up with the rest of the class despite today being his first day in rocketry! You rock Christian!
Rock Climbing
Mr. Brek Hammett is COD today! He was so brave and flew up that rockwall!! Aint no mountain high enough for him!
Roller Hockey
Our COD today goes to Grayson Smith for being a monster on defense and setting up score after score for his team! Awesome job Grayson!
Soccer
Soccer today was totally tubular! We had a great day playing with half the field! Our COD was Kaitlyn Cullar for scoring 3 goals and having a ton of assists! She had the Messi mentality and rocked the field!
Soccer Ironman
Rachel Fitzgerald had an incredible amount of enthusiasm today on the soccer field. She was also a stellar defender. Showing some real Sweeney Spirit!
Sweeney Fit
Karlie Carpenter brought the energy and enthusiasm today at Sweeney Fit! She was movin’ and groovin’ like nobody’s business!
Swimming
Second Period: Today in swimming, our wonderful Bonner Babe, Tess Allen is COD!! She learned how to dive and had flawless execution on only her second try! Congrats, Tess!!
Third Period: Talk about some F-U-N!! Swimming third period had the coolest most helpful Morris Man, Justin Long! His Positive attitude got everyone pumped for some sick nasty swimming!!
Fourth Period: Today’s afternoon swimming class was filled with flawless football passes from none other than the legendary Will Stone!! Now the whole class is working toward being as cool as this Morris Man! Awesome job, Will!
Fifth Period: Wyatt Brown, the coolest Byrne Bro in town is 5th period swimming’s COD!! He threw the sweetest passes and brought some serious competition to our water football game!! Thanks for being so awesome Wyatt!
Swing Dance
Swing dance was super fun today, but our Leonard Lady, Addison Oliver kicked it up a notch. She swung into action and kept us all moving and grooving.
Tennis
COD goes to Lila Downing for learning some sick new tennis tricks and nailing some serves!!
Tumbling
We had an awesome time in tumbling today thanks to our COD Karenna Traylor who was amazing at teaching stunts to some super cool Bonner Babes and Leonard Ladies!
Volleyball
The COD in volleyball for team-paint Tuesday is Meier Turboff! He hustled for every ball and brought so much amazing energy which “set” his team up for success!!
Waterpark
Jackson Lettenmaier had no fear of the 40 ft. water slide on the lake! He went up and down all period non-stop. Keep up the energy Jackson!
Whit Deckard went wild at waterpark 3rd period today! Dealey was a bit chilly but Whit was extremely encouraging to the other campers trying to get them in the water! Go Whit!!
Ben Burton couldn’t stop helping people if he tried with all his heart!! He was helping people get out of the water and onto the jet-ski all of 5th period. Way to go Benji!!
Weightlifting
Today Sydney Cohen had gains in mind when she showed up to weightlifting. The whole period she was putting in work and was tearing it up on the bench. #sweeneyswolders
Zumba
Period 1: Gage Oliver was amazing in Zumba! His confidence and passion were contagious to the whole class! He’s got the moves like Jagger!!
Period 2: Today’s Zumba queen is Caitlin Reeves! She had some sick moves and was super energized. Class was full of so much F-U-N!
