P2: This artsy awesome camper of the day is none other than Paisley Pierce! Paisley did an incredible job with learning how to make a loom bracelet for the first time. She also was extremely helpful with other campers. YAY!

P3: COD: Gage Oliver and Will Stone! Great teamwork was shown by these two amazing campers!

P4: Kaleb Jamon a jaw dropping talented artist is the Camper of the day!

Baseball

The COD for fourth period at the Sweeney Diamond was Josh Banks! Over the last week he has demonstrated some hard work and will to improve.

COD Markus Hutson showed some great leadership by helping to initiate warm ups, working hard in the outfield, and smacking some homers!

Basketball

Basketballer of the day was Austin Christman for his amazing effort in knockout today!

Drew DaVault is the COD for crashing the boards like crazy! Incredible sportsmanship shown!

Challenge Course

P1: Coming in 2for2 Kaleb Jarmon gets COD for his lightening speed down the zipline and stellar performance as a teammate great job Kaleb!

P2: Woo-Hoo!! to COD Jacob Cerrone in conquering his fears and owning the zipline. Keep it up Jacob and good job!!

P3: Is it a bird, is it a plane, no, its our camper of the day Cierra Thompson for high performance and high spirits on the zipline. Even though she got stuck, she still kept a smile on her face. Great work!

Choir

COD goes to the magnificent Bobby Rodriguez! He sang his heart out!

Cross Country

Kylie Stubbs is COD! She did an amazing job embodying the Sweeney spirit!

Disc Golf

Sam Olson did an incredible job practicing his disc flinging skills in disc golf today!

Football

COD Cooper Shackelford! He gave it all today out on the field!

Fishing

P1: Josh Wilson persevered all day after struggling to get a bite and caught a monster bass at the end of the day!

P2: Seth Granberry is our camper of the day for being such an amazing influence on the younger campers all period!

P4: Ben Miller was our fisherman fo the day. He pulled huge catfish out and will eat them tomorrow for fish fry friday!

P5: Laramy Smith has proven to be quite an expert fisherman and is our camper of the day! He helped get fish off hooks for others and gave great advice!

Hiking

P1: Congrats to Caleb Smith! His incredible directional skills helped us climb through Meditation Rocks great job!

P2: Our camper of the day is the one and only Kush Kaur! She did an incredible job multitasking today, hiking, making a bracelet, and being in great spirits the whole time!

Lacrosse

COD is Savannah Warford, today she absolutely killed it during our lacrosse baseball collaboration!

Mini Golf

Mini Golf’s COD Jacob Cerrone for his goal setting and the example he set for everyone else. He also golfed a stellar 18 holes!

Paintball Jr.

Brave Brown Camper Adam Dupont showed courageous Sweeney spirit throughout the whole period. His bravery and enthusiasm earned him the title of COD!

COD Josh Banks is showed the patience needed to get through the more challenging days in riflery!

Camper of the day again is Avery Clark! She is constantly the best marks woman with the riffle and is always patient and willing to help. We had a blast today on the range (pun intended) and Avery always contributes to the energy.

Rocketry

Mr. Zachary Gatteys incredible craftsmanship and determination shot him into camper of the day!

Max Appleton was our star skater today in skatepark. Keep up the awesome scooter skills!

Kerina Kelly was the ultimate yoga master after a tough workout yesterday. She wasn’t afraid to try new moves and fully embodied mindful deep breathing!

Swing Dance

Madi Miller was fantastic in class! Her confidence and ability pushed her over the top. I hope I never dance – battle her.

Mackenzie Marshall was the swing-dance-zombie-queen while learning the thriller!!

COD: Allie Grayson conquered her fears of doing a back handspring!

Ultimate Frisbee

Today’s COD is Rachel Yarborough for her teamwork and positivity. Also Mitchell Kurz can pass, catch, and really, he’s got it all!

Waterpark

P3: We had a totally tubular time in waterpark today! Ellie Finch was as natural as a narwhal in the blue!

P4: Connor Bryant led by example as he picked up both towels and life jackets that were left behind! Keep up the good energy Connor!

P5:Camron Bettis was an inspiration to all as he spent most of the class lending a helping hand to his junior ment! Somebody get this man a yellow bead!!! Way to go!

Weightlifting

COD:Luis Herodes never stopped working today. From sprints to dumbells to benchpress, Luis ran the whole class!

Zumba

Period 1: Emilie Skipper skipped (haha) her way into the COD with her love for dance and willingness to push herself. She was confident in her ability and inspired us all!

Period 2: Our Simmons sweetheart, Ellie Goodman, kept the entire class moving and grooving. She made sure everyone was involved and happy. So proud of this sweetheart.
