Arts and Crafts

Our Artist of the Day is Braylon Williams! Not only did Braylon show perfect technique when slinging markers, but he also made a wicked-sick shrinkadink. His art will live on forever!

COD for 2nd period is….. Brett Marsh!! Brett rocked it out with an awesome attitude and some mad coloring skills. Great job!

Ava Gelnaw did an AMAZING job today in arts and crafts and made a beautiful shrinkadink! Keep it up!

Arts and Crafts – Advanced

Advanced arts and crafts COD is non other than Serena Martin! Serena’s forever positive attitude and absolutely incredible creativity was so much N-U-F today! Great job!

Baseball

BJ Morris started off the week on a high note with some awesome pitches and a great hit. This, along with his awesome attitude, earned him COD! Nice job, BJ!!

Baseball ADV

Camper Kaleb Jarmon was a great team player today for 2nd period baseball. He put his body on the line when he got beamed by a fastball, but didn’t miss a beat as he ran to 1st base. Keep it up, Kaleb!

Boating and Canoeing

Abbey Monroe is our canoeing and boating COD because of her enthusiasm to make N-U-F day a swimming success!

Will Lenamond is our COD! He was very helpful in pulling in canoes and keeping the spirit of N-U-F day alive. Congrats, Will!

Broadcasting

COD in period 1 broadcasting is Connor Bryant! He managed to come up with five radio spots in one class period!

Kaitlyn Cullar is our COD for bringing only the most important news to our ears. #welovechickenstrips

Challenge Course

“Who can? They can!!” Congrats to COD’s Troy Barnes, Ashley Oliver, and Eli Jaynes for mastering the “I can wall!” Keep it up!

Choir

The Sweeney Choir COD is Lyla Kelly. We had a day that was filled with N-U-F to the X-A-M! She crushed it when learning some new warm ups and songs. We so appreciate her enthusiasm!

Cross Country

Today’s COD is Connor Bryant! Connor was a great leader on the jeep trail today and cheered every single on of his teammates on till the end of the run! Amazing job, Connor!

Football

Today’s COD is the phenomenal Samuel Olson for his stellar football skills and for being a great team player! He showed the Sweeney Squad how to embody the real Sweeney spirit. Way to go, bud!!

Fishing

Zachery Gatteys is COD for being persistent in getting line, hooks, etc set up so he can fish!

Ben Anders absolutely angled today catching fish!

Jocelyn Schneider is our fishing COD! She conquered her fears and put a minnow on by herself. She continued to fish all period. Nice work!

Our fisherman of the day is Michael Sharp. He was a super dedicated fisherman, never setting the pole down. He had some great perseverance!

Frisbee

We had a ton of N-U-F today! Our COD goes to Karlie Carpenter for giving disc golf a try and having a spectacular day!

Mini Golf

Mini golf’s COD was awarded to non other than Ben McKinnerney. As soon as the class started, Ben was off to the races trying to play every hole he could! He was then rewarded with his first ever hole-in-one!

Paintball Combat

In 1st period paintball, Jaysea Zucca lit up the paintball field with her shapr shooting skills. And in 3rd period, Nate Pacheco powered through the afternoon heat with a positive attitude that was infectious. Way to go!

Paintball Jr.

Howdy Camp Sweeney! We had a great dy bustin’ balloons in paintball junior! COD goes to Piper Bice for being our fabulous first timer!

Riflery

Today Dominic Johnson shot a gun for the very first time! He sat through the boring rules in class with the utmost patience and was so eager to shoot and learn afterwards this week is gonna be a blast!

Riflery Adv.

The first day of riflery is always hard because of all the rules, but William Watts, our COD, listened well the whole time. Finally, we got to take out the shotguns and he hit a clay pigeon on his first try! Nice job, Will!

Roller Hockey

The N-U-F was real today on the E-C-I! Liam Ray had a multi-goal game in his first ever game of roller hockey. Earning him COD!!

Soccer

Today was a spectacular day in soccer! We played world cup and had so much N-U-F to the X-A-M!! Our COD today was Abbie Cotter for being such a rock-star on the field. Way to go!!

Soccer Ironman

Rooster Castle-McClelland is our COD for the first day of Iron Man in week 2! Rooster was positive and energetic the whole period, even after slipping on the wet field and getting hit by a couple balls! A real Iron Man!

Sweeney Fit

Aiden Abeita earned COD through his sportsmanship and admirable attitude! He is the definition of a team player! #sweeneystrong

Swimming

Our COD for today’s morning 5th period is Ms. Ashlyn Webster!! She was ultra enthusiastic and helped make N-U-F day at the pool a splashing success!

Luis Herodes is COD today for being super helpful with a temperamental wibit! Thanks for being you!

The Bonner Babe, Sarah Duncan, is back for some more flip-tastic, crazy cool swimming! She jumped all over creation having the most N-U-F we’ve seen all day!

Continuing on with our wacky N-U-F day, 2nd period had FOUR COD’s: Lexy and Mya Buckley-McNamee, Caden Petty, and Danielle Bollier! Congrats, ya’ll!!

Swing Dance

Matthew Zavala is the sing dance king! His high energy and love for dance kept the class moving. So proud of him!

Tennis

Dominic Johnson earned COD for being extremely helpful and picking up balls to help facilitate the class. He also brought a ton of energy in spite of the heat!

Tumbling

Brett Marsh had a blast doing cool tricks and helping the Bonner Babes with their fun flips!

Ultimate Frisbee

Ben Miller gave it his all out on the field today, and inspired his team to do the same. #sweeneyspirit

David Moore exhibited excellent teamwork, sacrificing some personal scores for the goal the team! He also managed to stay clean after a near disastrous slip. #cleanfit

Video Production

Bobby Rodriguez, COD, really brought initiative and fearlessness to video production! He showed everyone “he could” on today’s hike, and captured some killer shots!

Volleyball

The volleyball COD is Tyler Lowe! He brought enthusiasm and had a sick Sweeney serve!

Waterpark

Josh Wilson showed some mad perseverance trying to run across a deflated tube today in 3rd period waterpark!! Never give up and you dreams will soon be a reality!

Grayson Smith could not help but do his best to have a great time in 4th period waterpark even though the water was a little chilly! Keep up the enthusiasm, Grayson!!

Zumba

Our Leonard Lady Serena Martin is COD! Her positivism and inclusiveness made class amazing to the X-A-M!!

Brett Marsh is Zumba’s COD! His effort and enthusiasm kept us pushing ourselves. We are so thankful for his constant encouragement!
