Lucas Boling is the Archery COD! He always has a positive attitude and works really hard to hit as many bullseyes as he can!
Arts and Crafts
What a day to finish out the session! We made lanyards and friendship bracelets. In 3rd period, Weslyn Huckin made a great lanyard and as had an even better attitude!
In 4th period Brody Gray asked great questions and learned some new skills. Way to go guys!
In 5th period, Dorian Carra started a fantastic lanyard! He was super determined to learn how to make the craft, and he did a great job collaborating with other campers!
Basketball
Today’s COD is the amazing Lynleigh Bruno! She started off a little apprehensive, but gained a lot of confidence and drained a ton of shots! She even hit her COD shot for an extra token! Sweet stuff Lynleigh!
Basketball Adv.
Today’s COD is Scout Bosley for her constant improvement and determination. She also hit a high pressure shot for an extra token with nothing but net! Clutch!
Baseball Adv.
Today’s COD for baseball advanced simply showed up and showed out. Sincerest congratulations to the newest member of the baseball crew, Morgan McShan! From hitting absolute bombs to having some filthy bat flips that followed, Morgan established himself as a gifted natural on the diamond. Keep up the good work slugger!
Boating and Canoeing
Our Period 1 COD was Cali Smith! She loved Pirate Tuesday, tackling waves and tipping with a smile!
Our Period 2 COD was Olivia Moss! She was super helpful bringing back her canoe from the middle of the lake with her nike slides in tow.
Broadcasting
Is a Pop-tart a ravioli? Is water wet? Our broadcaster of the day Hailey Johndrow answered these “real thoughts” with philosophical proness on air today!
Our 2nd period broadcaster of the day is Sarina Adhikari! It was Sarina’s first broadcast, but she sounded like a pro giving her music recommendations of the day!
Challenge Course
Our campers of the day in challenge course are Cooper Johnson, Gabe Hunter and Avi Levy for being absolutely incredible on the zipline!
Choir
Becca Thompson was our COD in choir! She shaved off some musical knowledge in name that tune and acting skills in musical charades. Way to go Becca!
Disc Golf
Today’s COD is the one and only Kade McCullough!! He made this class one of the most fun ones yet and wowed us with his great throws.
Fishing Pro
1st period COD is Avery Talamo for her hard work that caught her 7th fish!
2nd period COD is Henry Hail for his patience and dedication to fishing. He was able to catch 2 fish today!
4th period COD is Rachel Grishman for being a dragonfly magnet and catching 7!
5th period Caitlin Reeves fished for the first time and worked so hard to catch a fish with corn.
Field Games
Our COD is Cierra Thompson! She ran to fast during tag and gave it her all during the relay races. Above all she had a FANTASTIC attitude! Thanks for coming out today Cierra!
Football
Football legend Sulley Arseneau-Hughes is today’s COD! Sulley showed tremendous effort and sportsmanship while scrimmaging, finding ways to score that got everyone involved. Way to go Sulley!
Hiking
After 3 weeks Owen Krueger has stepped into his well deserved spot of COD! Congrats Owen!
Miss Becca Thompson is our COD! She has been remarkably helpful and joyous addition to our class!
After 3 long weeks, Harper Swartwout rightfully earned her spot as 3rd period COD for her enthusiasm and charisma.
Bucket hat king, Justin Long, is basically a counselor and COD, rounding up the back of the pack for the 3rd week straight.
Ultimate Frisbee
In ultimate today, we were all awed by Drew DaVault’s amazing throws. Hence, he is our COD and should be referred to as the Tom Brady of ultimate frisbee.
Drumroll please for our COD… Zanden Galchutt!! Everyday this session Zanden has given ultimate and disc golf his all and we have loved playing with him and against him. We’re gonna miss you!
Miniature Golf
Aiden Abeita was our awesome COD today as he was amazingly supportive and engaging of his peers!
Lacrosse
Today’s COD was Logan Chism, Logan was an absolute pro going after those ground balls and fell in love with the sport. Awesome job!!
Paintball Jr
In Paintball Jr today, BJ Morris fired away to win COD. Today was BJ’s first day shooting a paintball gun, and he was super accurate in STC. He also ran his heart out in capture the flag. Keep it up BJ!
Paintball Combat
Paintball Combats COD was Michael Cannon! Despite this being his first week at paintball, Michael displayed courage, strategy and leadership as he pushed his way up the field without hesitation. Great job Michael!
Riflery
Alyssa Augustyniak is the Riflery COD! She’s always eager to participate and overall has a positive attitude!
Rock Climbing
COD in rock climbing during 4th period was Mr Brek Hammett for his boundless enthusiasm for climbing and spotting.
For 5th it is Lance Hoppenstein. Even though it was his first day he was eager to help wherever he was needed by spotting.
Roller Hockey
Congrats to Donna Chen who scored 3 goals today and was brave enough to do multiple face offs. You’re awesome!
Skatepark
Congrats to Piper Bice for an excellent day at skatepark! Piper brought the energy today and scootered all over the skatepark and basketball courts!
Our COD is non other than Christian Nicolas! He came ready to take on the ramps and show us his moves. Way to go Christian! We are excited to finish out the session with you!
Swing Dance
For our last class at swing dance our COD was Gus Lodato! It was his first time and he did amazing! He was front row showing all of his perfect dancing skills. We are so happy to have you!
Swimming
Our 2nd period COD is Zanden Galchutt, who showed maximum enthusiasm by getting in the cold pool right when the activity started! Go Zanden!
Our 3rd period COD is Jaxon Fullmer! He did a fantastic job recovering from an injury and closing out the wibit race like a champ!
Our 3rd COD is Caitlin Reeves! Her wibit race enthusiasm made our day! Thank you Caitlin!
Our final COD is Mason Brown! Mason spent all day with us under the sun wibit race! Always a pleasure, Mason!
Tumbling
Today’s COD for tumbling is Ashlyn Webster. She killed the obstacle course and did an amazing job with her back walk overs.
Today in tumbling. one of our newest additions to the class was Sarina Adhikari! Sarina was an excellent listener and had unmatched enthusiasm to join right in and tumble! We can’t wait to see her newest tricks!
Volleyball
In volleyball today, the amazing Harper Swartwout got COD for being such a great teammate! She was positive and had huge energy!
Waterpark
Grayson Smith did an awesome job today at waterpark. He was making dives, doing front flips, and rode the jet ski! He really embraced the F-U-N at Lake Dealy today!
Morgan McShan was our COD today. He actively participated the whole period and brought great enthusiasm and positivity!
Weightlifting
A certain Hillcrest Hunk by the name of Gene Pilkington did a tremendous job being independent while helping others. He’ll be sure to continue the gain train past the gates of Sweeney. #weights
Miss Abbie Cotter really didn’t let anything hold her back today. The resilience to work through the arm setback was unreal!
Zumba
Hudsen Ginty was a shinning star today in Zumba. He was relly groovin’ to Just Dance and dancing his heart out, Zumba loves Hudsen!
