Lily Hockensmith was our archer of the day! She came to archery with a smile on her face and spent the period hitting amazing shots! Lilly also popped so many balloons with her pin point accuracy!
Arts and Crafts
We love tie-dye in arts & crafts. We had so much F-U-N today getting to be creative with color. In 2nd period Grace Minatra had the best attitude and was so great to have in class. In 3rd, Addie Russell made a beautiful shirt and earned COD! In 4th, Easton Bourland had the best attitude and was so enthusiastic about arts & crafts. In 5th, Thea Hutchinson worked hard all class period and did a great job. Way to go, guys!
The camper of the day today is Marissa Essenburg! Not only did she have an amazing day advancing the ball down the court and recording countless steals, but she also hit the Endgame 3-pointer for an extra token! Great job!
Today Gabrielle Hill is our camper of the day! She rained down three pointers during shooting and kept a competitive edge all class during scrimmage. All around great effort today in the Texas heat!
Robbie Heaton is our camper of the day for 1st period broadcasting. Held down the fort when there was no Chad in sight due to a severe battery shortage. A super clutch history lesson indeed! Conner Smith is our 2nd broadcaster of the day after scaring half of camp by testing our Emergency Alert System! Before that, he gave us all a crash course in some F1 racecar engineering.
Boating and Canoeing
Period 1 COD was Aubrey Rowe! She was hesitant about getting in the water at first but was such a good sport after getting splashed and tipped by friends. Period 2 COD was Josh Wilson! He had a great time swimming through Lake Dealey after jumping out of his canoe, but made sure to stay with his canoe partner as he brought the boat in!
Challenge Course had a lot of hearts on the line today! Evelyn Bonham face the ultimate challenge of riding down the zipline for her first time! Devin Dyer also broke the sound barrier with her thrilling trip in 2nd period! Hayden Hammonds really brought some speed down the Sweeney zipline in 3rd.
Ajani Graham was choir’s camper of the day! He did a great job playing the keyboard, making melodies, and helping other campers to understand the song. Great job, Ajani!
The cross country camper of the day is Andres Rios! Andres was so excited to lead our relay races today and was cheering on all of his fellow runners! He even added on an extra run at the end of class and pushed himself to work hard and have fun! Way to go, Andres!
1st period COD is Lindsey Cummings for helping people catch fish and catching her own bass. 2nd period COD is Will Lewis because of his creative dock fishing catching a bunch of fish. 4th period COD is Gracie Stinson for catching Bessie, a 3.5 plank bass. Our final COD is Natalie Hammons for her awesome catches and positive energy. Great job, everyone!
Evelyn Bonham is our COD today! She was ready for everything from sponge relay to drenching the counselors with water! On top of that she had a sense of confidence and positivity that was astounding!
The “No Fly Zone” is back and better than ever with Parker Davis on the line of scrimmage! With a pick-six and a torching touchdown, it’s no wonder that this team found victory on the gridiron today! Keep being a stud, P.D.!
Congratulations Maura Connors for being our camper of the day! She shared awesome stones from her all-camp hike and had a superb attitude to inspire all. Hailey Kramer survived and conquered the past-all-camp-hike hike with good attitude and a spring in her step. Also, Addie Hildebrandt similarly kept the hiking spirit alive in 3rd period hiking even with small numbers and low spirits in the group. Last but certainly not least, Charlie Hauptli made the courageous decision to stay in the heat of hiking after our all camp hike and for the rest of the week.
Today’s COD was Sydney Wajtowicz! She did an awesome job at keeping the questions coming during the popcorn circle and showed awesome stick skills! And Great Turquoise!!
DJ Moore was our amazing COD who despite his voicelessness still stood out as a leader. He was a big help in cleaning up, too!
In 1st period Paintball, Austin Thornton brought the energy, power sliding his way into COD. Austin had great accuracy and leadership skills, as well. Get ready for Four Horsemen! In 2nd period Dylan Bush was a huge help refilling paint and guns. Thanks for your help, Dylan!
Ethan Rich absolutely crushed it in Riflery today! In our target contest, he had a pretty much perfect score AND he was super optimistic! Way to go, Ethan!
In 4th period, Keith Duke did a phenomenal job on the wall as well as encouraging his fellow climbers. He was ready to spot for every climber. If he could’ve he would’ve spotted himself!! Way to go!
The rocketry camper of the day is Ava Sessions! Ava joined our class for the first time today and brought a great attitude! She showed off her speed building skills to catch up with the rest of the class.
Our COD was coming in blazing from Byrne Cabin, and he is non other than Nick Agler! Way to go, bro!!
Congrats to superstar Weston Beierle on being camper of the day in soccer! Weston always had his eyes on the ball and was always ready to score a goal when needed.
Our 4th period Swimming camper of the day joined us this Wibit Wednesday not once but twice and that is Braden Barrett!! He was crushing it and taught us new techniques! 5th period camper of the day on this beautiful Wibit Wednesday is Chance Reep! Chance showed off his athletic skills in swimming by playing catch in the pool and was super kind to everyone in the class!
Emily Kennedy showed some serious skills today in swing dance. She had the best attitude and is a shining light to our class.
Pat Frazier is today’s tennis camper of the day! He was working hard all period, hitting some stellar forehand and backhand volleys. He also helped demonstrate volleys to fellow campers. Awesome work, Pat!
Today’s VidPro COD really helped out the younger campers and was just a trooper. Here’s to THE voice (now 50%). Watch out Hollywood for DJ Moore!
Silas Mihalyi faced his fears and got launched into space on the blob today. Great job today, Silas! Grant Fraser was a rockstar today in waterpark! He went tubing, flipped off the trampoline, and flew down the slide. He really did it all, a true waterpark warrior! Avery Dietz conquered the tube, slide, and all of the waterpark today! She even made it across the banana bridge without falling. That’s some impressive work!
Andres Rios always comes into weightlifting with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and try new things. He is also very kind to everyone he meets, which is why he is our COD. Morris circuit, pull-ups, and camper of the day was achieved by Cody Lightfoot. Have a day, young man! #grass
Claire Tarpley was shining today in Zumba class. She put her heart into all of the just dance routines. We love you, girl!
