Arts and Crafts
We had a bunch of F-U-N in arts and crafts-adventure mode today! We spent the day in the shade on the deck enjoying the great outdoors! In 2nd period, Brady Westmoreland made his first bracelet and asked a lot of really good questions.
In 3rd period, Lorelai Scallorn picked up lanyard making very quickly and even made a gift for her mentor!
In 4th period, Fallon Yurkovich had a great day and made matching BFF bracelets for her and a friend.
We finished the class strong in 5th period with Kara Rankin making an awesome beaded necklace. Way to finish guys!
Our Archer of the Day was Andres Rios! He worked hard to improve his shots! He was extremely helpful in picking up arrows and keeping a smile on his face.
Today’s COD is Blake Fitzgerald! He was very tough today, had some sweet blocks, and powered his way to the rim. He also hit the endgame shot for an extra token!
The COD Hudson Cardozo has been working hard at basketball since the beginning of the session. Today he came out again in a tough crowd with great effort ands played outstanding, getting shots and great passes off!
Boating and Canoeing
We had so much F-U-N today for our last Pirate Tuesday of session 2! Kate Lynne Murphey had a blast paddling, tipping and swimming in Lake Dealy. Dylan Bell brought lots of good energy to class, tipping and splashing around with everyone. These campers both put the pirate in Pirate Tuesday!
Sovie Tudor was the COD today with her incredible energy and conversation flow! Even when things got quiet she always managed to keep the noise flowing! Great job Sovie!
Gabrielle Hill was the COD for 2nd period broadcasting! She has shown unwaveringly support for the broadcasting crew throughout the weeks and has only spread smiles and positivity! We are so thankful to have you in broadcasting! Great job Gabi!
Our COD for our last full day of classes is Luke Shine! He killed it playing Name That Tune and won the game! Thanks for an awesome last day in choir!
ZIPLINE DAY! Campers of the day, Luke Goodwin, Hank Martiny, and Dylan Bush, had an incredible time on the zipline today!
The cross country COD is Will Lewis! Will did a fantastic job leading our amazing team of campers for the final lake run today! He fearlessly knocked down every spider web on the trial and encouraged every camper to sprint in after he raced to finish in 1st! Way to go Will!
Our COD was new to the class, but improved so quickly. She worked super hard and was supportive of her Leonard Ladies. Congrats Bella Urieta!
Our COD is Belle McTique! She had such a wonderful attitude and kept going even when her kick wasn’t what she hoped for! She was also a great sport letting other campers pelt her with water balloons!
1st period COD was Lydia Stinson for catching her first fish this session and working super hard during class.
2nd period COD was Behr Conklin for keeping a positive attitude, focusing on fishing and catching 3 fish.
4th period COD was Hudson Wassenich for being super helpful, working hard and catching some fish.
5th period COD was David Dunlap for catching not 1, but 2 plankers during 5th period. He also is in fishing 2 periods which really shows his passion.
Hudson Wassenich wowed us with some amazing catches in ultimate frisbee today.m We better see you again next year!
Ethan Rich had an incredible session in ultimate frisbee. He puts in the hard work everyday and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Great job today and everyday!
Congratulations to our COD, Christian Sandoval!! He has been a remarkable addition to the class and has been hiking his hardest everyday this session!
The long haired champ, Majestic as ever- Sam Fitzgibbons is our COD. A friendly and familiar face, Sam was the engine to our Friendly Fruesday.

Today’s CSA Football First Pick of the Day did a dirty steal right as the seconds were counting down, securing the W for his team! Everyone give it up for Pablo De La Mora!!
Today’s COD was Lucas Latorre! He was one of 2 of our lacrosse first timers and jumped right into scrimmages and put his body on the front line. Way to go!
Westover Harvey was our amazing COD, whose enthusiasm radiated across the course and conquered many of the holes!
Our COD for paintball jr. was Austin Stidham for being the MVP at capture the flag. Austin was a leader on the field and kept spirits high for everyone in the burning heat of mid-July. Congrats!
COD for rocketry was Charlie Hauptli! Charlie came with great attitude and built not one, but two planes! Then we had a great time launching them!
Today’s tennis COD is Kaleb McEuin! He was an absolute brick wall for team Dorito, hitting some killer volleys. Way to go Kaleb!
Allie Grayson was our COD for tumbling today. She persevered even though she was on crutches and actively participated in the activities. She’s awesome!
Today’s Vid Pro COD was a new face to the class, but came in with such PASSION! He showed eagerness to get involved and show off his interviewing and filming skill! Watch out Hollywood for Justin Baldwin!
Lorelai Scallorn had some heat on her serves today! Stopped the ace-reload squad among others on her path to glory.
Our COD 3rd period was Lily Hockensmith! She brought great energy to the last full day of classes, and rocked the tube for one last time!
For 4th period, Hannah Fisher had a great time slinging some frisbees around in the water and was all around a fantastic influence on the good vibes of the period.
For 5th period, Lucas Latorre dominated the wakeboard. It was the first time we wakeboared this session. Way to make the last day one to remember!
Grace and Gabrielle Hill were a powerhouse in weightlifting today. They overall has positive attitude as well! Great work Grace and Gabrielle! #twins
