Arts and Crafts
We had a great day in arts and crafts today! We made friendship and “I heart camp” bracelets while enjoying the beautiful weather. In 2nd period Molly Russell had the best attitude and was a positive fierce today.
In 3rd period Maddie McElroy was super helpful to her fellow table mates and made a great bracelet.
In 4th period, Rylin Parades was super creative and made a super cool bracelet.
In 5th period Ivanna Colmenares made an excellent bracelet and had a great attitude. Way to go everyone!
Chloe Santana was baseball COD today!
Today’s COD was Xavier Trent! He got into our full court game and quickly made his presence known with a steal and later an amazing 3 pointer! This guy really shows up to play!
Today’s COD is Judson Kasson! He had a great attitude today and ever better game during our 3×3 games. Sure to be an athlete in the future!
1st period broadcasting COD is none other then Meason Bakunas for having excellent energy and a fantastic segment! He wrote a whole screen play in order for it’s smooth delivery and execution! Great job Meason!
2nd period broadcasting COD is Charlie Amis who had a fantastic performance in the booth and narrated Pirate Tuesday on the lake to the finest detail using his eagle vision! Excellent work Charlie!
Boating and Canoeing
Today was our first Pirate Tuesday of session 3 for summer 2021! Jackson Kasson had so much F-U-N getting tipped by the pirate’s waves and was super helpful bringing back in his water-logged canoe.
Connor Bates hopped on both a canoe and a paddle board today and only got knocked off night before endgame. Happy Pirate Tuesday!
Challenge course had an incredible time on the power pole today! For climbing, spotting and helping on relay our CODs are Sofia Barandiaran, Amira Price and Maura Matthews.
We had an amazing day today in choir! Today’s camper of the day is Makenzie Marshall because she was working hard on our talent show song all period and participating in musical charades! Great job!
The Cross Country COD is Leighton Yanity. Leighton is such a positive, kind and hard working runner and she was a true champion as she raced through the Sweeney woods and climbed the crazy hills! Go Leighton!
Kendall Dohmann has improved so much in just 2 classes. So she is our amazing COD. Thanks for all the fun convos too!
1st period COD was Kaleb McEuin! This hard work paid off when he helped catch Tony!
2nd period COD is Jordan Johnson for catching NINE fish and most of them were bass!
4th period COD is Reese McGruder for his positive attitude and hard work during his 2 periods of fishing.
5th period COD is Alex Anderson for showing the younger campers the ropes of the class!
Yesterday’s COD was Alex Anderson. He was new to ultimate frisbee, but learned so much in one class. He was incredible on defense for team Mustard.
Jackson Kasson had an incredible day in ultimate frisbee today! He was so active on the field and his hard work did not go unnoticed.
Yesterday, 5th period kinda turned into disc golf and James Polei was amazing. Everyone couldn’t help but say “that throw was so pretty”.
Today’s COD, Mason Dark, was so helpful in setting up at the beginning of class. He had a positive attitude and some great throws!
Aiden Cabrera was our gridiron great today! With 2 sacks on the board, we almost mistook him for Aaron Donald! Keep up the team spirit and hustle Aiden!

Today’s COD was Zach Ferrington! He stepped up and aced those face offs and was crucial to his teams success and one could say he was even the jelly to his teams peanut butter! Way to go!
Chloe Thomas is our awesome COD for her enthusiasm and excitement for the game! Awesome job Chloe!

Period 1 paintball combat COD was Ayden Bishop and period 2 COD was Korbin Thayer. Both CODs fearlessly charged the other team, taking hits and making hits.
Howdy Camp Sweeney! We had a manic and muddy Tuesday in paintball playing D-Day! Today’s CODs, for serving so valiantly and leading their teams are James Coors and Sofia Barandiaran! Way to go guys!
Paintball Jr’s COD was Ethan Edgar! Thanks for being an incredible asset to capture the flag and being a leader for your team!
In today’s PB&J, Stella Ungar won COD by completely repainting the outside on the shed yellow. She also had an incredible accuracy in STC. Great job today and thank you for the redesign on the shed!
The advanced riflery sniper of the day is Zach Winders! Zach was very in class today. He helped facilitate skeet shooting practice and had a few incredible shots of his own!
Owen Ehrenberger was our sniper of the day! He edged out a close competition on our speed loading contest, taking 1st place overall in our tournament!
4th period rock climbing COD was Jonas Ruckel! Thanks for being an awesome spotter, climber and super enthusiastic!
5th period COD was Jack Cooper! He was an excellent climber, even reaching the moon on Mount Ernie!
Today’s roller hockey COD is Josh Platts. Josh was a beast on the rink and played all positions. His efforts motivated all of us!
Grant Laughlin had an awesome day in rocketry today! He constructed his parachute like a pro and shared tons of creative ideas with the class! Great work Grant!
As the class learned what it takes to be a Sweeney Soldier in our first class of the session, Alexa Vargas, A Sweeney Fit veteran, showed the class how it’s done while dominating the workout, making her out Fit COD!

Kaylee Gonzalez had a great day today in swing dance! She did everything that we asked with a super positive attitude. You rock!
Our 1st swimming superstar today is Brayden Mertz! He had a great time splashin’ and sploshin’ around the pool with his penquin tube, making lots of new friends.
Our next amazing swimmer is Kensi McLemore! She had a fantastic time jumping into the pool, showing off her pencil dives and cannon balls to the whole class!
Today’s Tennis COD is Alejandro Solis! He demonstrated some stellar backhands, which helped him out in our around the world game! He also had such a positive attitude all class period. Nice job Alejandro!
Today’s VidPro COD shot some super action shots of the folks at the waterpark! The slide, the blob, the back flips? All shot with ease! Watch out Hollywood for Charlie Amis!
Maylee Markee had some outstanding ideas during our brainstorm session today and has big plans for the week! Keep up the creative juices and that spirit!

Our COD was the one and only Sam Presley! He was amazing today in class! He was dancing Rasputin with all his energy and was a mediation instructor at the end of the day!
