Sydney Mayo was our archer of the day! She did an amazing job hitting clay pigeons and bullseyes. She was also very positive and helpful throughout class.
Arts and Crafts
In arts and crafts, Wednesdays are for tiedye! We had a great day hanging out and showing our creativity. In 2nd, Rachel Sheffield really let her creativity and ingenuity shine & didn’t let anything hold her back. In 3rd, Brody Gray worked hard on his shirt & stayed focused the whole period. In 4th Emily Garcia had the best tie dye & worked hard all class. In 5th Ava Kate Scarborough had a great day & an even better attitude.
Basketball Adv.
Advanced Basketball’s camper of the day was Z Lockett! He commands the court and is also never short on words of encouragement or enthusiasm. Not to mention he’s an absolute baller and got buckets during S vs S!
Basketball
Today’s basketball COD absolutely slaughtered at knockout! His corner throws were precise and got one person out after another! Watch out for Fahad Emadaldeen!
Broadcasting
Lucy Bartram was all over KPFC today, making her our 1st period broadcaster of the day! She was interviewing others, getting some solid shoutouts and was an all-around rockstar! Our resident fun facts specialist Reese Wanner is our 2nd period broadcaster of the day! She had not one, not two, but three guest segments lined up for today!
Boating and Canoeing
We had a great Wet Wavy Wednesday today in B&C! Lawton Lee worked on his canoe tipping skills while getting splashed by the jet ski. Kade McCullough rocked the pedal boat and id the impossible, tipping the boat itself! Great job, guys!
Challenge Course
Jonas Ruckel displayed true grit with scaling the power pole in first period! He faced his fears and earned the spot of camper of the day! James Polei got the title of COD with his swinging on the power pole trapeze, snagging the hearts of second period! Kierstyn Hoffman climbed to the peak of the I-CAN wall and conquered the challenge! Awesome job today!
Choir
Roland Peery was choir’s camper of the day! He suggested ideas for how choir can sing their talent show song, and he did a great job participating and singing. Fantastic job, Roland!
Cross Country
The XC camper of the day is Molly Russell! Molly is the most enthusiastic, hard working, and dedicated runner, camper, and friend! Today, she cheered on our team as we raced through the wilderness and climbed up reaction hill colored in war paint! Go, Molly!
Disc Golf
Day 1 in the class and Jackson Kasson made quite the impression with his amazingly accurate throws. We’re gonna have to make a disc golf advanced class just for him.
Fishing
1st period COD is Reed Mercer! He has kept a great attitude and worked really hard to catch his fish. 2nd period COD is Henry Hoffmann. He persevered and was super patient, which allowed him to catch his 1st fish today! 4th period COD is Josey Crown! She fished for her very 1st time today and caught one in the 1st 5 minutes! 5th period COD is Rachel Sheffield! She caught 3 5lb bass. Incredible job!
Ultimate Frisbee
Ultimate’s COD always has the left of the field covered and he is constantly working hard to get open. He also had an incredible catch in the endzone today for team musto. #touchdowns “Communication is Key” Kade McCullough is our COD! Also, he’s a pretty good t-rex.
Football
The should start calling Johnny Post “Johnny Picks” with all the interceptions he caught today in football. Johnny also had some absolute dimes as our stud QB today, as he threw a beauty of a touchdown! Keep it up, gridiron great!
Hiking
Peter Coors II battled through early morning grogginess and fresh morning dew to have a great day in hiking today. Waterlogged shoes have nothing on this hiking veteran! Today’s camper of the day blew us away with his thoughtfulness, ingenuity, and respect. Kade McCullough is a hiker’s hiker – congratulations! Nothing is as majestic as Sweeneyland except maybe this camper of the day’s attitude. Kyle Fields proved how coming to hiking prepared is a sure fire way for success. We cannot wait for the rest of the week!
Lacrosse
Today’s COD was Jojo Ray! After joining the lax team late, Jojo has been bringing the energy and even played some tones for us today! Awesome job!!
Miniature Golf
James Coors was our super enthusiastic COD today. He was a great player, encouraging and also helpful in cleaning up!
Paintball Combat
We the paintballs start flying, most run. Period 1’s Owen Ehrensberger and period 2’s Will McClelland were not most. They both ran into the firefight to lead a push against their opponents and to win COD. Amazing job, men!
Paintball Jr.
Team leader? Yes. Good sport? Yes. Valuable player? Yes. Hypeman? Absolutely. And these are just a few of the reasons why Quade Hanson is today’s Paintball Jr. COD. Go, Quade, go!
Riflery Adv.
The advanced riflery COD is Trey Gaines! Trey did a great job not only shooting the clay pigeons but also throwing them for his fellow campers! Overall, Trey is a cool guy.
Rock Climbing
Jaxson Bui was COD in 4th period today. He did a great job on the wall and spotting other climbers! Luke Edwards climbed to the moon today and did a great job encouraging others! #ritzcrackers
Rocketry
Camper of the day for rocketry is Hayes Edwards! He did an awesome job building his rocket and kept the class entertained with his jokes and stories! Hayes got us all excited to launch on Friday!
Sweeney Fit
Nathan Hill absolutely crushed the “deck of cards” workout today. From Aces to Kings, Nathan powered through! Congrats, Nate!
Swing Dance
Karishmeh Bhardwaj had a fantastic day in Swing Dance. She had such an enthusiastic attitude and did not want to stop dancing when the class was over!
Swimming
Judson Kasson had a fantastic time in the pool playing football and hanging with friends! Zanden Galchutt crushed it today on the wibit really brining the energy on the Wibit Wednesday!
Tennis
COD Grant Miller showed out today. He held down the front line and was practically a brick wall for team cheeto. He took what we learned in the volley drills to astronomical levels in crazy ball.
Tumbling
The camper of the day for tumbling was Ethan Edgar. It was his first day in tumbling and he brought so much enthusiasm and was showing off his amazing back flips to the whole class.
Volleyball

Congrats to Lilli Davis for COD! She came into volleyball with some new skills and absolutely rocked the court with those spikes.
Waterpark
Meason Bakunas was creative and innovative today in waterpark. He made our deflated splash pad work and was coming up with some really fun games. Go, Meason!
Weightlifting
Sadie Mayo did a great job today in weightlifting. She was active the entire period. One minute she was lifting weights, the other doing stretches. Great work! Jayden Richardson. Morris circuit. Pullups. Ballet. Enough said. #dancing
Zumba
For zumba today we were so impressed with our COD moves, the one and only Annie Snow!!! She was rocking it today with “watch me whip”. We love having you in zumba!
