We picked the perfect warm sunny day to make suncatchers in Arts & Crafts. In 1st Tessa Kendrick used paint in a new technique and added some color to her suncatcher. In 2nd Madi Austin made a beautiful suncatcher for her sister group. Mason Dark took what he learned in 2nd period to teach others during 3rd period. In 4th Alaina Urbach made her suncatcher as a gift for her grandparents. Thanks for a great day, y’all!
Baseball Adv.
There are many famous walls – The Great Wall of China, Andre the Giant specifically in the Princess Bride, and that poor brick wall shattered in famous billboard-topping pop song “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus. But today’s Baseball Advanced COD has ’em all beat. Nathan Hill stood tall today and showed the Sweeney world that no ball would be getting past him no matter what. Congrats, dude, and keep up the good work!!
Basketball
Bree Scharg was our camper of the day for Basketball, and today she was fantastic on the court. Constantly moving around and applying a lot of pressure made it really hard for the other team to score. She also had great rebounds and was overall a great team player. Keep up the good work!
Boating and Canoeing
We had an awesome day boating on Lake Dealey today! Chris Boyd had so much F-U-N on the paddleboard in his first day ever in Boating & Canoeing! She led the pack all day and brought an energy that was incredible.
