Boating and Canoeing
Today’s COD in 2nd period boating and canoeing was Josh Platts! He was rowing the whole time, and even helped bring in lifejackets, boats and oars! Thanks, Josh!

Choir’s COD was Declan Lee! He worked hard on the ukulele for the whole period, including our talent show song and jamming to “Rainbow Connection” with the class. Awesome job, Declan!
COD in Cross Country today is…Micah Harrill! Micah was an absolute warrior this war paint Wednesday, running reaction hill in the 100 degree heat like it was nothing and motivating his fellow runners along the way. Way to go, Micah!
Disc golf today was electric! We had a great day playing through a Camp Sweeney carnival obstacle course! Our biggest competitor was Emily Kennedy making everyone have the best time playing!
With the NFL combine only days away, Bree Scharg made her presence known on the field today! With great defense and a 50-yd touchdown, teams with the top picks better lookout! Great work, Bree!
For her dual love of hiking and coffee, Marianna Peters received 1st period COD in hiking, with a positive attitude even in the 90 degree heat of the graveyard trail. Kyra Fox also kicked butt on an even hotter 3rd period graveyard hike as our COD.
Brody Gray was our positive putter COD for all his effort on the green and his engagement all class!
In PB today, we played Secret Service, and Quade Hanson (aka “Mr. President”) was the stealthiest paintballer of all time. He also rocked TDM later in the class. Awesome job, Mr. President!

COD for rocketry is Cooper Shackelford. He decorated his rocket with tons of colors! Can’t wait to see what the design looks like after he adds the finishing touches tomorrow!
The Sweeney Swoldiers got down to it in some friendly relay race competitions between Team JIF and Team Pistol Shrimp. Emma Busby lead Team JIF to one of the greatest comebacks of the last century, earning her the title of COD.
Our 2nd period swimming COD is none other than Chloe Thomas! Chloe always shows up to the pool ready to have lots of F-U-N with her friends. In 4th period Alexa Vargas had a great time with friends, too!
Our COD today for swing dance was Meason Bakunas! He is a new member, and we were so impressed with how fast he learned the choreography! He is a natural dancer! Keep it up!
Today’s tennis COD is Blake Matthews! Blake was a wonderful leader, helping other campers as well as playing some outstanding tennis! Thanks for being awesome, Blake!
Molly Russell went all out today in Ultimate with the sqquwwaa!! She was a great leader on the field looking like the great Tom Brady himself out there. Continue doing a great job!

Our COD today was Mara Matthews! She conquered the tube after not going on it in 5 years and never even fell off! She’s still got it. Way to go, Mara!
Jordan Johnson did awesome in weightlifting today. He was active the entire period and worked his way around the weight room.
