Despite her self-critique, Macey Brodin crafted a masterpiece today! Can’t wait to see what new heights she pushes herself to next.
In 3rd period Natalie Chau took her dreamcatcher to the next level by sticking to a jungle animal theme and adding her own flair.
In 4th period, Lauren Meyers showed her Sweeney spirit by making a Sweeney themed dreamcatcher. Great job today everyone!
Ashton Ferris was our Archer of the day! He started off the class saying that he did not want to shoot, but eventually gave it a try. After no time, he was nailing balloons and asking to shoot at every opportunity.
Today’s COD is Dawson Miles! He has been greatly improving over the session and played a big part in today’s scrimmage. Lots of points and great passing out there!
Today’s COD was Camden Caldwell! He played a hard fought game today and was a key component of his team’s success. He also swished on insane half-court shot for an extra token!
Boating and Canoeing
Our period 1 COD was Lucas Latorre! He was such a great help making sure that his fellow boat mates were having F-U-N on Pirate Tuesday.
Our period 2 COD was M Musial! Shew had so much fun out on the water, splashing around and even tipping his own canoe full of Dillard Dolls!
Today’s COD is Allie Grayson! She was working hard during class on our talent show song and giving it her all. Great job Allie!
The cross country COD is Pierce Keffer! Pierce came to his first day of XC with a positive attitude, ready to make new friends and brave the steep hills of the Sweeney woods! He even ran an extra hill and encouraged his teammates as they crossed the finish! Way to go!
Our COD came to the field ready to play with his dad’s disc in hand. He played an amazing round of disc golf. #vanillaicecreamisthebest Great job today Christian Brady!
4th period COD is Parker Davis for his energy and attitude in the class. He almost caught a 4 planker today!
1st period COD is Brock Piper for his super slingshotting skills. He’s been so helpful in class all week and we appreciate his hard work.
2nd period COD was Keith Duke for catching his 2nd fish ever! He also caught the long lost fishing net. Great work Keith!
Kaleb McEuin did a great job slingin’ me fris today! He did not let his broken hand stop him from catching many frisbees today! Great job!
Our 2x hiker and 1st time hiking COD miss Anna Thaxton. She represents everything the hiking class stands for!
COD Kara Rankin must’ve been in the wrong class, because her enthusiasm for hiking 1st period belonged in professional cheerleading.
COD Easton Bourland kicked butt on our post-rain circle trial. Seriously, his smile and laughter made the slips and falls all worth it.
Last but not least, Kaleb McEuin slashed and fought his way through the rain to lead 3rd period hiking back home.
Today’s football COD was an actual GOAT with his precise throws! He showed patience (even w/ our tractor troubles) and some great sportsmanship! Our NFL first pick of today is the ONE and ONLY Rhea Sumpter!
Today’s COD was Eli Nathan! He carried his team to victory today in the final death match up and had some F-U-N! Way to go!
In our small but mighty class today, Ava Sessions bravely tried her hand at mini golf for the very first time, even scoring some birdies!
In paintball, Gray Cooper was FEARLESS, charging into battle like a true warrior! Keep it up, Gray!
The Riflery Adv. COD is Dylan Bush!! Dylan had an awesome day in Riflery. He had great aim and precision while using the shotgun and hit a bunch of water bottle targets! Great job Dylan!!
Our COD for roller hockey is none other than Christian Smith from the Hunks of Hillcrest cabin! He had incredible passes and was gthe back bone of his team!
Skatepark’s COD is Grant Fraser! Grant is a ball of energy and inspires other skaters to stay active too! Great job Grant!
The COD for swing dance is Evelyn Thomas! She really enjoyed her first day of class and gave her all. She learned all the steps that we taught today and we were super impressed. Keep it up!
Emma Norment was so excited to be in swing dance today. She asked tons of questions, danced in the front and was super confident. We love you girly!
Olivia “cooked” up a fresh ab workout today in Sweeney Fit. She helped come up with supplemental workouts to add some intensity to the circut. Great job Olivia Cook!
Today’s COD absolutely killed it out on the tennis court, miss Clare Moore is our tennis star of the day! She worked so hard on drills, which payed off during our games today! She also had such a positive attitude all class period! Yay Clare!
The amazing Valentina Delasobera was our COD for tumbling. She did a superb job with her back-walk-overs and practicing for the talent show!
Today’s video production COD had so many impressive shots today! The angles? Amazing. The framing? Flawless. The position? Prefect. Watch out Hollywood for Charlie Hauptli!
David Dunlap was a first timer on the slide today and did some amazing tricks!
Colt Crum was able to make it across the tube of doom 4 times! Go Colt!
Hudson Cardozo was our COD today! Even with the rain altering plans, he remained energetic and active through all of our rain games! Way to not let a little rain ruin the fun!
Luke Goodwin was our COD for 4th period. He had a great time making the biggest splashes off of the slide and was super enthusiastic after the rain stopped to get into the water. Way to go Luke!
Amanda Foy cycled through a variety of exercises, earning her COD and an insane pump. All around win in the weight room.
The COD for zumba is Miss Isabella Castillo! She was giving it her all today and moving those hips like nobody is watching! Keep it up!
