Today’s COD is Frank Schmidt! Frank is a great passer, loves to keep others involved but is also a sharp shooter and can drill any shot around the court. Today’s word of the day, Selfless, is exemplified in Frank! Basketball-Advanced COD is a gentleman and a scholar, Drew DaVault! He is an infallible leader, tireless worker and tremendous player. We are honored to award him this Day 16 basketball COD Award to our fearless crusader of the Beautiful Baller Game.
Boating and Canoeing
We are so excited for another week of B&C on Lake Dealey! Roland Peery brought the energy to period 1 and we are so glad to have him back in class! Quade Hanson did an awesome job paddling and canoeing all across Lake Dealey. He was a great help in bringing in boats at the end of the period. Thank you, Quade!

Starting off with our triple class merge with soccer and XC, Grant Laughlin took home COD with a smile on his face and an attitude to bring about world peace. And even though we just learned names, Sadie Thomas only needed her charisma to make her recognizable as 2nd period hiking COD. Lastly, during the lake hike following Spillway Falls, Aiden Roark led the way with waterlogged sneakers and a yo-yo as our guide.
In PB Sandwich 1, Gunar Freeman came in paintball gun a-blazing to win COD. He was fearless in leading his team to victory in TDM. In PB 2, Harry Rahn was an absolute monster for his team and a great strategizer. Amazing job today, Paintball!
The rocket building team of the day is Amira Price and Avery Mercer! They brought a ton of energy and excitement to rocketry! Amira & Avery built and decorated an awesome rocket in just one day!

Lucy Bartram made her presence felt on the court today and had F-U-N while doing it. Way to go! First timer Garrett Hicks showed that effort, heart, and natural ability easily makes up for experience. Bump, set, and spiked it.
We got another powerhouse weightlifter in the weight room and that is Alejandro Solis. He did great at staying active. Great work!
