Our A&C COD for 2nd period is Alex Martin. She not only was positive but EXTRA creative! Our A&C COD for 3rd period is Maddie Stowe, she helped all the younger campers & shined in her projects! Go Maddie!
Baseball’s COD today was Louie Giddings! Louie persevered through high heat and showed out on the baseball diamond! Louie also has a cannon of an arm!
Today’s COD is Joey McDowell!! Joey was making accurate passes and great shots all game long! He played great defense and always showed sportsmanship! Great job Joey!!
Boating and Canoeing
Claetyn Moore was an outstanding boater today and a fantastic first mate to the Lake Captains! His lake tour was on point! We were paddling up a storm on Lake Dealey today! COD Ben Martin told some tall tales of the Seven Seas as well as helped get the boats out on the water. How lucky are we to have such a great lake captain?!
1st period COD is Gracie Williams! Gracie co-presented the daily weather segment, a very important part of every broadcast, that she completed flawlessly despite never before being in the radio booth! For her initiative and willingness to try new things, Gracie is COD! 2nd period COD is Helena Marinko! She was the co-host for the first time ever, and was a great leader during the broadcast. For working hard and standing up to challenges, Helena is COD!
In first period, Gus Lodato crushed it climbing the I -CAN wall! In second period, Aidan Abeita not only completed the climb like a challenge course expert…but also served as a leader to the younger kids, helping most of them up the wall before he went.
COD is Declan Lee. He showcased his talents and brought laughter and joy to the class. His enthusiasm is always appreciated. Declan is a true ROCK STAR!
Nolan Woods was our cross country COD! Nolan was an absolute stud today! He pushed himself in our running activities, supported his peers, and most importantly, had a lot of F.U.N! Congrats Nolan! You the man!
Jake Toon is our COD in first period fishing. Today was Jake’s first time ever fishing! He cast his line under the dock and caught his first fish right away! Great job, Jake!
John Michael Barbeito was eager to “get fishing” this morning! This was his first fishing class at Sweeney! He was extremely positive and helpful to the other fishers. By the end of the period, he caught his first fish at Camp Sweeney!
Today’s COD showed great energy and enthusiasm throughout the entire; she also showed off her impressive passing skills and led her team to victory! Great job Abbie Cotter!
Period 1: today’s COD finished the week off strong in hiking. The distance did not bother her, nor the sun! Way to go Simone Frey! Period 2: Madeline Keffer fully embraced the joy of Sprinkler Saturday, running through the water and having a blast! Even after a long week, she made sure everyone was having fun, making her our COD!
Today’s COD Liam Ray was a new edition to our class and displayed some amazing skills. He made several great shots and showed great passion for the sport! Congrats, Liam!
Margot Silva is our COD for Paintball Jr. Her persistence and determination led to some great games on the field. Congrats!
This COD hit her first clay with a shotgun! Then she hit her second, third, fourth, fifth, and so on throughout the entire class! Abbie Cotter only missed one clay! She is a sure shot with a shotgun!
Our COD is Asher Hewlett. Although he was behind in building the rocket he was always supportive of his classmate’s rocket launches & made sure to countdown & cheer for his classmates. Today’s COD goes to our Avi Grishman. He showed off his decorating skills with a flash themed rocket & launched it to the target with confidence.
Today’s COD was Westover Harvey. Westover was on fire during roller hockey & put on a great showing for his first day playing Hoj! He scored & was racing around the court!
Today’s COD for skatepark was Louie Giddings. Louie practiced ramps at the skatepark tooday & was showing off his skills. Louie was also very helpful to the other campers & helped put equipment away.
Today’s COD is Cierra Thompson! Cierra wasn’t in Sweeney Fit last week, but that didn’t stop her from helping out with moving our Sweeney Fit equipment into and out of the gym and giving it her all on Burpee Monday! Keep repping the profession, Cierra!
Our first COD for week 2 second period is Robert Dyer! Robert immediately jumped in the water and brought so much energy to his first swimming class at Sweeney! He was splish-splashing all around the pool! We are so excited to have him in swimming this week! Period 3 Josh Williams is our COD today! Josh is always a friendly face at the pool. His kindness and enthusiasm radiates like the sun does on the pool! Thanks Josh!
Swing dance’s first COD for week 2 is Cierra Thompson! She was so engaged and enthusiastic when learning our dance for the Neon Dance! She also did an amazing job leading out stretches and being a great role model for our new swing dancers! She’s so excited to THROW DOWN her dance moves on the dance floor this Saturday!
Rachel Grishman was serving aces left and right all class! As our COD, she also helped her friends stay engaged and made sure that everyone was having a good time. Go Rachel for hitting winners on and off the court!
Ben Anders is COD today because of his spectacular spikes and mind-boggling blocks. His positivity and leadership are inspos to to all ballers out there. #BumpSetSpike

Today’s COD was Chloe Llewellyn! It was her first time in weight lifting class but she looked like an absolute pro! Great job, Chloe! Keep up the good work!
COD, Riley Bergstrom, jumped into the first day of classes with a ton of excitement! She is new to Zumba, but started moving like a natural! We can’t wait to see move of her moves this week!
