Boating and Canoeing
John Michael Barbeito or Michael Phelps?! In first period boating and canoeing today, we couldn’t tell which when he leaped out of the paddle boat and into the water to help some older campers get their boat afloat. Lending a helping hand is a quality we love to see down at the lake. In second period, Natalia Belyeu fought off the pesky Sweeney Pirates and also ensured no man or boat was left behind. She swam about from the middle of the lake all by herself until some help arrived. We applaud Natalia for her acts of service.
In period 1, our COD was Chloe Llewellyn for presenting an excellent segment on nostalgia! This was one of the most creative topics that we have discussed in Broadcasting so far, and Chloe created and explained this segment wonderfully! In period 2, our COD was Lochlan Ambrogi for playing games with the other broadcasters who were waiting to go on the air! He gave it his all in every game, and we really appreciate his dedication to every aspect of our class!
Camille Gosch sprung her way into COD with another death-defying jump from the power-pole! Max Clasen overcame his hesitation and proved his courage, winning COD for period 2!
Our COD, Will Lenamond was smoking us all in Cross today! He dominated in infection tag and led the group in our run!

Kerina Kelly was our COD 1st period. She made sure to include all the new campers, helping them out with hiking traditions, and leading them through “Tough Tuesday”! Period 3: Even though it was “Tough Tuesday”, Renner Kottmeier did not back down from the challenge. He rose up and led the pack throughout the trail!! Period 5’s Julie Bebee took on the trails with no hesitation today! Although it was her first day in hiking, she braved the “Tough Tuesday” route with ease!
