Today’s COD in archery shot a bullseye within minutes of being in class despite not having shot in quite some time! She did amazing today and encouraged all the other kids to do their best as well! Our COD was Lila Muecke who was a wonderful archer and threw some confetti in the air to celebrate her achievements!
Arts & Crafts
It was Rese McGruder’s 1st time in Arts & Crafts today and he did spectacular! Not only was he creative but helpful too! He is our 2nd period COD! Our 3rd period COD is Ashton Cook! He not only was amazing today, but very brave and courageous when helping! Go Ashton! Our 4th period COD is Maddie Steffler! She was a rockstar in arts & crafts today, not only was she engaged but positive! Sami Chahal is our 5th period COD! She was so sweet, kind, & nice! Truly a mentor to the younger ones and a gem to counselors!
Our COD in baseball was Austin Thornton! He was teaching kids how to throw as well as how to get around ground balls deep in the hole! All around good teammate!
Today’s COD is Thomas Traweek! Thomas was showing off his dribbling and shooting skills all period long! He also had tons of assists during our scrimmage and helpful his team perform well! Congrats, Thomas!
Today’s COD is Riley Longoria!! Riley played great offense and defense today! She was a great teammate and made sure everyone was involved! Great job today, Riley!
Broadcasting had a phenomenal start to 2nd session classes today with the new hosts, returning segments, and creative ideas! Campers Elliot Chrisman & Lorelai Scallorn wowed us all with their energy in and out of the studies! Congrats to both for their recognition as CODs today!
Challenge course’s first COD is Leo Becerra! Not only did he push himself and defeat the I CAN wall but he encouraged others & spotted climbers the whole class! 2nd period, Robbie Heaton, managed to climb to the top with zero assistance! Not only that, but his cheering and support of other climbers was awesome to see! 3rd period, Natalie Hammons was a fearless leader, brave climber, and awesome friend at the I CAN wall today, and won COD!
COD for choir is Maura Connors! She showed so much enthusiasm in class today! She also shared her passion for music and her impressive musical experience! Maura was a TRUE ROCKSTAR TODAY!
Today’s COD was Silas Mihalyi an absolute beast on the course today for not only his disc game but for meeting new friends!
Our COD is Xavier Miser! Xavier did really well in giving thoughtful answers and being engaged in meet-each-other Monday! We look forward to getting to know you even better Xavier!
Rendon Parsons is our 1st period COD in fishing! Rendon caught the first two fish of summer 2022! He caught fish of each of his first two casts! Awesome job, Rendon!
Cody Morey is our COD for pro fishing! Cody brought some great energy to class! He reeled in six fish today including the largest fish at Sweeney this summer! So excited to see more of Cody in 2022!
Today’s COD, Grant Fraser, was an amazing player on the field! He made some great passes and was really involved throughout the period!

Our 1st period COD is Parker Davis! Parker opened up the session with some great offensive play during team death match! The 2nd period COD is Anthony Alvarado! Today was Anthony’s first day on the paintball course, and he confidently helped lead his team to victory! Congrats!

Neyo Green came to Riflery today having never shot before. He wasn’t afraid though! He sat down in the sseat and shot several times without fear showing! How brave he is!! Congratulations, Neyo!
Rebecca Velesky was smashing clays left and right with a 22 today! She also managed to hit two bullseyes in our target competition! Congratulations, Rebecca!
The COD for our first 4th period rock climbing is Lena Spirn! She supported her fellow climbers and soared all the way to touch the moon! 5th period COD goes to Clayton Fraser! He climbed every wall and never gave up! He even set goals for his next time on the wall!

Today’s COD for roller hockey was Weston Beierle! Weston raced around the court & impressed everyone with his handles!
Today’s COD for skate park was TJ Sheehan! TJ learned how to skateboard at a record setting pace & even went down the ramp!
Our first COD for soccer for 2nd session is Weston Beierle! He was hustling and showing off his moves all period and scored a few goals for his team!
Our first ironman COD of second session is Henry Hail! He was hustling all period and was a great team player while still showing off all of his moves and making plays!

Our COD for Vid Pro is Mahika Cuttambakam! Mahika wielded the camera like a veteran and shone like a star in our practice photo shoot! Future Oscar winner in the making!
Slonie Schaffer is the first COD for volleyball! Slonie bumped, set, spiked, and dove for every ball that came her way! She competed with the oldest players and showed a lot of grit, determination, and encouragement! Way to go, Slonie! Stay v-ballin!!
Water park jumped and made super splashes in the first day of second session! Camden Shields showed everyone how to have F-U-N at Lake Dealey! Liam Turner had hot feet on the Yellow Runner! Colton Buchanan made crazy waves with his ride down the slide!
Today’s COD for 3rd period was Cameron Tishgart! The first COD of second session proved to be an amazing one! She was putting in that work all period and was motivating others! Great job! Zumba’s very first COD of 2nd session totally brought the energy today! Tayah Scott was so enthusiastic in our icebreaker game and worked hard to remember every camper’s name and favorite dance move! We can’t wait to see her shine the rest of the week!
