Today’s COD in Archery is Seth Hoppenstein who showed a lot of improvements in his sharp shooting and tried new things to sharpen his skills as well. Seth was a perfect fit for COD!
Arts & Crafts
Period 2 COD is Ciara Thompson! Not only is she positive, she puts others

optimistic & creative with all of her crafts & friends! Helena Marinko is period 4 COD! She spent the whole period helping her friend & being selfless! Yay Helena! Nathan Barnes worked so hard learning how to make a friendship bracelet in Arts & Crafts today! Awesome job, Nathan!!!
Baseball Advanced
Our COD, Nathan Hill was very energetic today as he helped out his teammates. He was especially caring for his jr ment as he cheered him on all day, even when he was struggling! That is what mentors are for! Good job, Nathan!

Today’s COD is Nathaniel Melamed! Nathaniel showed off amazing shooting skills and great sportsmanship! Keep it up, Nathaniel!!

Today’s COD is Will Stone! Will pushed through any and all obstacles and finished strong!! Great job, Will!
Boating and Canoeing
Paddling a boat full of Hillcrest Hunks is no easy task, but this Byrne Bro, Caden Blackmon was up for the challenge. Caden handled his canoe with excellent skill! Aidan Abeita acted as an excellent source of Lake Dealey knowledge and conjuror of Sweeney Spirit amongst our younger campers and was a big help in class!
Broadcasting
Today’s broadcasting COD is Gus Lodato! He showed us all his inventiveness when he became the first broadcaster to call-in to KPFC-FM! What we can do in this class has been expanded because of him, and we are so proud to have him here! Lincoln Reese is today’s Broadcasting COD for his fascinating segment on various dog breeds! He was working hard on it with a team of campers, and his outstanding teamwork in addition to his great segment have earned him this award!
Challenge Course
1st period Rachel Simmons conquered the challenge course with the bravery of a superhero today. 2nd period BJ Morris was the next fearless adventurer to survive the challenge. Last but not least, 3rd period Meric Mosley, made the power pole jump courageously.
Choir
Today’s COD goes to Declan Lee! Declan shared with us some of his favorite childhood songs and he sang his heart out during our game.
Cross Country
Congrats to Calvin Walther our COD! He was leading the pack and persevering throughout the run. Calvin was also enthusiastically affirming all the other classes we ran to and cheering on the other runners.
Disc Golf
Today’s COD is none other than Christan Brady! He worked hard while having F-U-N to the MAX! Christian’s honorary call sign on this lovely call sign Thursday is “The Slinger.

Field Games
Emily Johnson was bringing all of the Bonner babe energy to the field for today’s games. She cheered for her friends and encouraged everyone to run through the sprinklers even if they didn’t want to get wet! We love Emily’s charisma.
Fishing
1st period Callie Duncan, not only caught fish for Fish Fry Friday for herself, she also offered to catch fish for other campers. Great job serving your fishers, so they can get fish on their plate tomorrow! Cheyenne LaConte earned COD for her unwavering effort to catch a fish by Friday. As class was coming to a close Cheyenne dipped her rod in and in under a second, caught a fish that made the 2-plank mark! Great job, Cheyenne! Caleb Sanders was reluctant at first but took up a rod and ended up catching fish over 2 planks! Great job!
Football
The COD is Carson Lunnie for the amazing touchdown and the energy he brought to class!
Hiking
Today’s 1st period COD was a huge help with leading the group and keeping us all engaged and entertained with his speech. Justin Long, you “termite rock”! 2nd period: She can! She did! She conquered! Our COD did an awesome job hiking all the way to the I Can Wall. Isabella Thackray did it all!
Lacrosse
Lacrosse COD, Shir Paz, was absolutely rippin it to the M-A-X out on the today. Not only did she score her first goal, she also brought an electric attitude and brilliant ball control.
Miniature Golf
Today’s mini golf COD, John Michael Barbeito, made some awesome shots today during class! He putts like a pro!
Paintball Combat
Period 1’s COD is Zack Woodel!During Take the Hill, Zack let his team up the hill and showed his skills in team death match! Period 2’s COD is Zanden Galchutt who stepped up to help the younger kids while also showing his hustle on the field! Congrats, Zack!

Today’s COD is Mason Clark! Mason did a great job helping his teammates out and keep
safe on the course! Congrats!
Riflery
After hours of hard work and practice at the range, Logan Chism was the best shot at the range today hitting 21 bullseyes.
Riflery Advanced
Conner Bryant was today’s COD. After an intense shoot out with another camper, Conner was victorious, proving his skill with a shotgun.
Rock Climbing
4th period’s COD, Charlie Spiegel, came into class with enthusiasm
and excitement. He never gave up and even allowed our eager young campers
to climb first! 5th period’s COD today is Nick Randazzo! He always comes ready
to climb with a new strategy to reach the top. Keep at it Nick, amazing job!
Rocketry
Rocketman Roman Evans was our COD in Rocketry today because he was patient and helped others with their decorating and also explained Riley loop to his classmates.
Roller Hockey
2nd period Johnny Meyer was an incredible sport, & helped others achieve their goals! His skills & attitude showed great enthusiasm! CONGRATS!!
Skatepark
Today’s COD was Remi Heide! Remi went hard at the skatepark today, switching up his usual speedy scooter for a sick skateboard.
Soccer
1st period soccer had an intense 6 vs 6 mini scrimmage! Our COD Johnny Meyer started off in goal as the brick wall for his team. He switched to center back where he continued to be the backbone of his team!
Soccer Ironman
5th period soccer had Shir Paz as COD because of her beautiful crossbar down goal for her team, Brazil, that advanced her team to the next stage #goooooaaaaallll!!!!
Sweeney Fit
COD goes to our swoledier, Sydney Cohen! After a phenomenal job completing our training circuits today, she is definitely ready to take on the #SweeneySwoledier challenge on Friday! Way to go, Sydney!
Swimming
Marlie Marshall is the COD for 2nd period swimming.She found the secret treasure at the bottom of the pool, showing off her impressive investigational skills! Jhett Claassen has been a frequent face at the pool this summer. Always willing to participate in activities and follow the rules, all the lifeguards love seeing Jhett walk through the gates! Thank you, Jhett! 4th period Gavyn Kelly was a fantastic addition to swimming. He was the fastest person to retrieve the loot at the treasure hunt and even braved the obstacles on the wibit. Great job, Gavyn. 5th period Cheyenne James is a friendly face you can find at the pool and we love to have her. She is kind and caring to all other swimmers and you will always find her with wet hair on her head.
Swing Dance
Our swing dance COD did an amazing job of completing her goal of bringing the energy and keeping it up the entire class! Nadia Stanbach has been bringing it every class and is working so incredibly hard on learning Thriller! Go Nadia!
Tennis
Today’s COD, Zac Nagy, truly led the class by example. Not only did Zac push his peers to try their hardest during games, he also helped the counselors clean. Excited to see Zac’s game face the rest of the week!
Tumbling
Tumbling today was super F-U-N to the M-A-X! So many campers learned a new skill, but today Megan Douglas not only learned a new skill but also encouraged every single camper in the class! Great job, Sweeney tumblers!
Video Production
Today’s Video Production COD is Julie Bebee! Julie combined talent and enthusiasm today & shined during our photo & video taking session at Ultimate Frisbee. She has a knack for getting the perfect angles & timing. Great job, Julie!
Water Park
Waterpark had a super summer splashdown! Landon Tritz made big currents with his amazing cannonballs! Kellyn Jackson went super speed on the water slide like a pro! Maddie Stowe showed everyone how to make waves with her awesome dives and jumps!
Weightlifting
Today’s Period 3 COD was Griffin Ward! He was a beast in the weight room and was a monster on chest press. Well done, Griffin!!
Zumba
Brody Gray helped with the class today by offering some awesome song suggestions for the Time Travel Thursday. He got everyone excited to participate and put his own moves to the test as he led Rasputin! Go Brody!!
