Archery
For archery today our COD did a wonderful job refreshing his bow-wielding skills and even helped restring a bow with his strength. Give it up for Michael Ipina, who impressed us all today!
Arts & Crafts
Our 2nd period arts & crafts COD is Ava Pampell! She did amazing today & did not give up! She is extra creative & sweet! Yay Ava! June Fazio is our 3rd period COD! June is truly the sweetest & most caring girl! She is not only artsy but crafty as well! Go June! Our 4th period COD is the amazing Larelie Blocker! She was the most creative and sweet gal in class today! We love you, Larelie! Olivia Zimmerman is our 5th period COD! She was so sweet & creative! Her journal was gorgeous! You are the best, Olivia!
Baseball Advanced
Today was a great day in baseball! It was full of F-U-N! Our COD sacrificed for the rest of the team by shagging baseballs all period and hitting at the end! This takes a lot of patience and giving of oneself! Our COD was Chloe Santana! Chloe hit some bombs at the plate when it came time!!
Basketball
Today’s COD is Johnny Post! Johnny was a hooper all period long and helped everyone have lots of F-U-N! Congrats, Johnny!
Basketball Advanced
Today’s COD is Charlie Tullis! Charlie did it all today; he passed the rock, got some boards, hit some jump shots, and played stellar defense! Way to go, Charlie!
Boating & Canoeing
We had such a blast in our biggest boating & canoeing class of all time today & our COD, Ottilia Padden, was such a rockstar & really brought the energy!
Challenge Course
1)Dylan Bush stepped up to the challenge today and spent class helping to boost others up the I-CAN wall. His strength and leadership earn him COD! 2)Grant Miller not encouraged his friends, but inspired them by conquering the wall as well in record time! Congrats on COD, Grant! 3)The wonderful Keith Duke kept class moving today with encouragement, leadership, and a fantastic positive energy! Congrats on a well deserved COD win!
Choir
Today’s COD goes to Mara Matthews for her enthusiasm despite class being outside in the heat!
Cross Country
Big congrats to our Day 1 COD Caslyn Gamble! She was killing it in cross country-encouraging her fellow runners and giving it her all! Caslyn really brought the F-U-N to XC today!
Disc Golf
Today’s COD is none other than Lundyn Cox for not only braving the heat but for helping out her friends while carrying out some swag conversations! Great job girl!
Field Games
Our marvelous COD, Sebastian Freire showed off a great deal of athletic ability and sportsmanship in a friendly game of kickball. Way to go, Sebastian!
Fishing
Jackson Crowe is our COD for first period fishing. Jackson caught his first fish at camp, weighing 2 pounds! He also helped others take fish off their lines! Great job fishing and serving, Jackson!
Fishing Pro
Today’s COD in pro fishing 2nd period is Aiden Roark Johnson! Not only was he super helpful with the less experienced fishers, he also gave many tips & tricks about catching catfish. Aiden wowed everyone on the dock with his sharing spirit and when he pulled up a soft-shelled turtle! Great fish day in pro-fishing Aiden!
Football
Today’s football COD is Emory Silveus! He showed great effort all throughout class and had an amazing trick play touchdown!
Paintball Jr
Today’s paintball jr COD is JaRon Lee! JaRon shot well in shoot the counselor and was a great leader in capture the flag! Congrats!
Miniature Golf
Today’s mini golf COD goes to Preston Hartfield! He did a wonderful job at staying engaged and played the whole time. He also showed wonderful sportsmanship, encouraging his putt-putt partner the whole time!
Riflery
James Ellis is a newby when it comes to rifles but that didn’t stop him from learning how to load and shoot the rifle. He even got close to 20 bullets into our brand new washing machine.
Riflery Advanced
Zach Winders was amazing at the range today hitting tons of clays and targets as the class period went on. Apart from his excellent shot, Zach was extremely selfless showing his 20 gauge shotgun with other class members. Way to be a stellar camper, Zach!
Rock Climbing
4th period rock climbing COD is Annie Snow! She was so extremely supportive of other campers and climbed all the way to the top! Congrats, Annie! 5th period COD is Colt Aja! He persevered and hit the top of the wall! Congrats, Colt!
Rocketry
COD for rocketry goes to Avery Fender. She was so hyped to be in rocketry. She made some creative decorations and even gave some rad ideas to other campers!
Roller Hockey
Dylan Bush was today’s COD for roller hockey. Dylan had his own hockey-stick & put it to good use, scoring many goals & helping his teammates!
Sand Volleyball
The first COD for the great sport of sand volleyball was….Jolie Scharg! She did an incredible job serving her team to victory & embodying the v-baller spirit! Keep up the hard work, Jolie! #bumpsetspike
Skate Park
Today’s COD was Willow Aja! Willow hopped on the skateboard & zoomed around the entire park. She flexed her radical moves & had a really good time!
Soccer
Our first COD of 3rd session soccer is Ezra Goldscheider! He put in a ton of work for his team today in World Cup and had some great shots. Keep it up, Ezra!
Sweeney Fit
Our first COD to kick off third session is none other than Alex Anderson! Way to get us started on the right foot, Alex!!
Swimming
Brayden Mertz is the first COD for swimming class. He was swimming laps around other campers today, really showing off his breaststrokes! Congrats! David Sanchez really made a fantastic effort in the water today, and for that he earns COD! Congrats, David! COD for 4th period swimming goes to Jaz Weaverling. Jaz was dripping wet with enthusiasm to swim today. She makes Leonard cabin proud! COD for 5th period swimming goes to Caroline Campbell. Caroline jumped right in the water after her swim test and was off. We appreciate her excitement!
Tennis
Today’s tennis COD is Ben Asarch! Ben absolutely killed out on the court, with a long reign as champion. But importantly, Ben was a great sport and used his talents to help others!!
Tumbling
The first tumbling COD of 3rd session goes to Larelie Blocker. She was trying all kinds of new tricks. Flipping and rolling around and keeping a smile on her face. Way to go, miss Larelie!
Video Production
Our first Vid Pro COD is Kaylee Gonzalez! Kaylee started the session off strong, wielding the camera with poise & prowess while also shining as an actress. Very excited to see Kaylee emerge as one of the leaders of the class. Congrats, Kaylee!
WaterPark
The 1st day of classes was so much f-u-n at lake Dealey despite the Texas sun! With our first two COD, when there’s a “will” there’s a way-congrats to Will Lewis and William Bilbrey for bringing the energy today. Annie Snow did a fabulous flip, securing her spot as COD. Yay 3rd session water parkers! 🙂
Zumba
Today during our first zumba class we played a game to get to know one another and Allisyn Sparks did an awesome job being a respectful listener, participating with enthusiasm, and even helping others remember the rest of the class’s names! Way to go, Allisyn!
