Today’s COD in an unorthodox day of Archery was the amazing Simmons’ sweetheart, Hannah Powell! She made a difficult day into a great one by encourages others and maintaining a great enthusiasm throughout the class! Thank you Hannah for making it a great class!
Arts & Crafts
2nd period COD goes to Allisyn Sparks. She was so helpful & intuitive today! Yay Allisyn! 3rd period goes to Charly Kate Wiley. She was extra creative & helpful! Her smile always brightens ours! Josey Crown is our 4th period COD! Despite having an injury. She was so positive & excited to be in arts & crafts! We love you, Josey! Meason Bakunas did amazing today! They were not only creative, but filled the AC with energy, positivity, & love! Go Meason!
Today’s COD in baseball was Hadrian Silveus. He made some great plays and hit some bombs during our home run derby. Hadrian also won rookie of the day as it was his first time in baseball this week. What a stud!
COD today is Miles Chase!! Miles was on fire from three today! He helped his team win and had lots of F-U-N along the way!
Today’s hooper of the day is Harry Meckel!! Harry was an all around great teammate and helped his team have lots of F-U-N! Congrats, Harry!
Boating & Canoeing
Period 1 boating & canoeing:Kobe Wilson was such a big help in class today. He was super everywhere, excited, and eager to be on the water and to help others enjoy the water. Period 2: Amanda Pfeifer gave it her all on trick shot Tuesday. She was sinking shots but not her boat! Go Amanda!
Fantastic Broadcasting 2022: Part 3 coasts smoothly into Thursday! Day 4 of KPF-3 was filled with lots of interactive segments & incredible hosting! Meason Bakunas earned COD in first period for his dynamic hosting while Jojo Ray earned the accolade in second period for his exceptional engagement in class. Congrats, Meason & Jojo!
Andres Labastida conquered our first zipline day of session 3. He encouraged others and had a great attitude. Good job, Andres. Landen Hice flew high and fast on his first zipline ride. Way to go, Landon! Chloe Thomas conquered her fears and zoomed down the zipline. Congrats, Chloe!
COD in choir is Jaz Weaverling! She had so much energy from the start to the end of class. She also participated and shared her musical knowledge! Jaz’s good sportsmanship is greatly appreciated!
Grant Miller was today’s cross country COD! On this thankful Thursday, Grant was a leader of our chants to other camp classes! He has gotten cross country off to a great start this week! Congrats, Grant!
Period 1 COD for fishing was Michael Ipina! Michael was an amazing influence on the dock today. He continuously demonstrated a servants heart, helping all in need! He gave up his rod and helped with adding a line! Keep it up, Michael! Period 4 COD Nathan Demaray was our helping hand on the dock today. As we began the period, Nathan added bait to each line! Amazing work, Nathan! Period 5 COD Noah Reyes was extremely positive and upbeat even when the fish were not biting. Noah fished the entire time with a smile on his face. Great job, Noah!
Today’s pro fishing COD is Joey Howard! Unfortunately, no fish were caught on the dock today, but Joey never gave up and kept a positive attitude! Plus he caught a fish on El Pescedo yesterday! Great work!
Hiking period 1:Our COD exemplified no one left behind and kept up great conversations! Kyra Fox helped with creating a new hiking, admiring 71 rolly pollies on our monumentus Termite Trail. Period 2:This COD was having the time of their lives, talking and laughing during the hike today! For keeping up great vibes, Borja Amieva is our hiker of the day! Period 3: Today’s hiker of the day exemplified leadership on the trails. Ellie Linde led our massive third period class all throughout the camp Sweeney woods, and kept us safe while doing so.
Our 3rd period COD Landen Hice was awesome today. He was making plays, getting open, and had a positive attitude when his team was down. Our 5th period COD, Christian Daughtry, was a game changer in 3v3s. He was an inspiration to the other campers.
Today’s LAX COD is Micah Harrill. Micah was a superstar on the field and played some great offense and defense. He made an amazing goal and showed his lax skills all period. Congrats, Micah!
Today’s mini golf COD, Leslie Luedke, played with lots of passion and sportsmanship. Congrats on a great class period of mini golf! Can’t wait for another great class tomorrow!
Our 1st period paintball COD is Sebastian Freire! Today he did a fantastic job of rushing on offense and helping the team! Jack Cooper is our 2nd period COD! He led by example, makin’ moves on offense and being great on safety! Congrats!!
Unfortunately the Riflery range was closed today, but this did not prevent Willow Aja from learning new skill and having F-U-N! Great job, Willow!
Dylan Bush has been phenomenal in the range shooting skeet 50 yards out. Today, he was even more impressive. Dylan fully loaded a 22 and fired all 10 rounds hitting 10 clays in 57 seconds. Nice shooting, Dylan!
Today’s 4th period COD is Caslyn Gamble! She was supportive friendly and climbed high high high! Congrats, Caslyn! 5th period’s COD is Keith Duke! He was encouraging other campers, and never gave up! In the end he reached the top! Congrats, Keith!
COD goes to Drake Goodwin! He made his rocket so fast that he started a mini rocket and even drew rockets for his friends in the cabin!
Today’s COD for roller hockey is Dylan Bush! Dylan did so well & led team Bio-freeze to victory!
Today’s COD for skatepark was Bree Scharg! Bree made so much progress in learning how to ollie today & won the planking contest too!
Today’s soccer COD is Kaylee Gonzalez! She was putting in the work in our scrimmage and was a great teammate. She had some awesome goals and plays throughout the game too. Awesome job, Kaylee!
Today’s ironman COD is Willa Berry! She is a great team player and kept everyone laughing all class. She had some awesome plays and was showing off her moves. We love you, Willa!
Emma Kornegay is our Sweeney fit COD. Emma was putting in the work today as we prepared to all take on the #SweeneySwoledier tomorrow! Way to go, Emma!
Rachel Sheffield is our COD for 3rd period swimming. Rachel has had so much F-U-N in swimming. You could say it has been to the M-A-X! Kobe Wilson is 2nd period COD for his courageous dives and flips. Great job, Kobe! 4th period COD is Amelia Stokes of Leonard. Amelia is indeed amazing! She makes Leonard proud! 5th period COD is Ava Kate Scarborough of Bonner. Ava is awesome at making friends under the mushroom fountain. Keep it up!
Our COD is McKenna Jones! She’s shown so much initiative by leading stretches and working on our spooky choreography for the Halloween dance! Keep it up, McKenna!
Today’s COD in tennis is Seth Moore!! Seth gave it his all for team Dorito today! While his team didn’t get the results he’d wanted, Seth stayed smiling and encouraged other campers. Keep being a star on and off the court, Seth!
Our COD today was Evelyn Levens! She really got into it today with our dances and tumbling skills we worked on. She even mastered her bridge walks! Super proud of Evelyn!
Ava Pampell is our Vid Pro COD! Ava was the first to hop in our “America’s got talent” skit and worked the cameras masterfully. Ava always brings the joy, enthusiasm, and great ideas. Thank you, Ava!
Colt Cotten was the COD for sand volleyball! From starting the period with agilities to finishing the period with some wins in his pocket to every dive, serve, and assist in between, Colt bodied the game and was a hardcore v-baller! Go Colt, bump set spike!!!
Today McKenna Jones was kind and energetic on the slide! Braden Cram scaled the slide to nearly impossible amounts. Ethan Edgar had an amazing jump off the trampoline!
Today’s 3rd period weightlifting COD was LJ Johnson!! LJ was a beast in the weight room, as we completed the infamous Morris circuit on day 6! (push-ups, sit ups, and squats!) Great work!!
Today’s zumba COD, Eleanor McCalpin, came in ready to travel back in time for throwback Thursday! She had an awesome time with her friends and got into every dance. Way to groove!
