Archery
Today’s COD in archery is Alex Platt who shot some stellar arrows today! He also stepped up to the challenge of aiming for the archery deer, “Bambi’s” eye, getting so close to a “deerseye”. We loved having him in class today and look forward to what he does next!
Arts & Crafts
Kennedy Wallace is our period 3 COD because she did amazing today while being injured! Period 4 COD is Cali Smith! She was amazing today! Yay Cali!
Basketball
Today’s COD is Jensen Keller! Jensen gave his best effort and showed off some impressive handling! Way to go, Jensen!!
Basketball Advanced
Today’s COD is John Henry Ingram! JI was hitting threes and holding it down on defense all game long. He led his team and showed great sportsmanship! Proud of you, John Henry!
Broadcasting
Our COD and first-time host in broadcasting is Hillcrest’s very own Meier Turboff! Mr. Turboff brought great energy and excellent ASMR sound effects to close out our studio session! Great job! The shoutout master, Ryan West, was 2nd period broadcasting’s COD! He brought a great attitude and energy to the booth and helped with other segments!
Challenge Course
Cody Lightfoot was the first of the entire summer to grab the bar…he even did two pull ups. For his strength and bravery, Cody wins COD! Allie Grayson has shown great leadership and bravery all week and wins COD for period 2…congrats!
Choir
COD goes to Divi Cuttambakam! She really pushed herself out of her comfort zone and sang today! A few days ago she was extremely shy but today she showed us her beautiful voice! Divi is a ROCKSTAR!
Cross Country
Today’s cross country COD was Mr. Ryan West! Ryan was a true champion today during our track and field Tuesday events! He had us all laughing and made the day so much fun! He’s a runner…he’s a track star! Congrats, Ryan!
Disc Golf
Today’s COD is Zeb Land in our first day of week two classes had a great day learning and absolutely mastering disc golf! Great job, Zeb!
Football
Today’s COD was Rhea Sumpter! For his first time in the class he had some amazing throws and kept the energy up all class!
Frisbee-Ultimate
Our 2nd period COD today in ultimate frisbee was Kael Cargile! He was flinging all along the field! Was the MVP scoring the most points! Way to go, Kael!
Lacrosse
Today’s COD is Connor Shields! Not only was he a stud on the field in his very first scrimmage, but he was a true team player that helped clean at the end of the session! What a star! Congrats!
Miniature Golf
Congrats to today’s mini golf COD Parker Gluck! It was only her second time ever playing mini golf but she looked like a pro out there on the green. Keep up the awesome work, Parker!
Paintball Combat
Today’s sharp shootin’ COD in paintball combat is Sam Fitzgibbons! Sam, despite getting shot over and over, kept getting back out there! Great persistence and determination! Congrats!
Riflery Advanced
Nico Parkhill was today’s COD! She smashed every clay in front of her while bravely fighting through 3rd degree burns. Way to stay strong, Nico!
Rocketry
COD goes to Izetta Fuller! She had an amazing time in rocketry! She made her first rocket and even taught everyone some cool decoration tips!
Roller Hockey
For the first time in Sweeney roller hockey history we have a pair of champion campers! Nolan Kelly and Ben Miller were lighting the rink up from start to finish! Nice job!
Sweeney Fit
Our Sweeney Fit COD today is Henry Robertshaw! Henry always brings the Swoldier energy without fail, and today was no exception. He braved the ankle injury to help lead us through the cupid shuffle, Macarena, cha cha slide, cotton eye Joe, and unprecedented amount of wall-sits. Let’s go! Oh yeah! Keep it up, beast!!
Swimming
COD for 2nd period swimming goes to Kamryn Winburn, the Bonner Babe! She helped catch a frog today and was a great participant in pool activities! Great job, Kam!
Swing Dance
Mary Blair Johnson was so invested in learning our dance for Neon Dance. She asked a lot of good questions to make sure we were perfecting our moves as we learned the choreography! Congrats on being our COD, Mary Blair!!
Tennis
Today’s COD was Lena Spirn!! She was absolutely killing it on the court and helped lift her team, the Mongols, to three straight dubs. Fantastic job!
Video Production
Today’s Vid Pro COD is Avery Talamo! In her first day of Vid Pro Avery brought enthusiasm & energy in her performing debut as a terrifying Jurangadon. Avery overcame her worries & thrived in spite of them & the result was an amazing few scenes for the skit. Congrats, Avery!
Volleyball
The v-baller COD was none other than the big baller himself: Bradley Stalford! He was servin’ up a storm, swinging at balls left & right as the sun shone down during 2nd period, and receiving the toughest of tough spikes. Bradley displayed intense confidence on the court! Stay ballin’ VB man!
