During period 2 Maite Mendoza chose gorgeous bracelet colors to make the kimihimo bracelet! She was and absolute joy to have! In period 3 Honor Sandord was a busy bee working away at his bracelet! his commitment to the craft definitely inspired others to do the same! Audrey Weast was our 4th period COD! Always on top of the craft, Audrey crafted a fabulous bracelet! Lastly, our 5th period COD Bradley Stalford slayed slayed slayed! Fearless Fridays have never been so good because of our cool campers!
Major shoutout to our baseball COD Sovie Tudor who was the biggest helper all period. Even though she is new to baseball, don’t count her out! She is a beast at the plate and is always positive in our “dugout”. Congrats Sovie!! #bigtime #nextweek?
Hudson Denny had an inspirational performance in basketball today. He played with tremendous effort & grit, having some calling him the new Jordan of camp.
Landon Ellis has been putting in the work all week, and it all came together today. His tremendous shooting, defense, & sportsmanship calumniated into him putting on a great show today. Making him basketball advanced’s COD.
Boating and Canoeing
Period 1 boating & canoeing COD was someone with so much spirit & energy, and contributed to the 10 man Morris boat! Congratulations to Colt Crum! Great job today! Period 2 COD was Lucas Latorre! He made sure everyone was having fun & did a great job paddling around lake Dealey. Keep it up!!
1st period’s challenge course COD was Arabella Machet because she participated in our blindfold challenge today! A true Sweeney adventurer! Our 2nd period COD was Honor Sanford! She came flying down the zipline in record time & had fun chatting with her friends. 3rd period COD was Catalina De la Mora since she was super brace during the blindfold challenge & yelled her favorite free food on the way down!
Choir’s COD is Rebecca Land! Rebecca was a great participant today, singing dancing and encouraging other campers to get involved. Way to go, Rebecca!
Today’s COD mastered his forehand today for the first time ever!! Congrats Bo Barnett!!
It was Madeline Hauptli’s first time playing handball today in field games, and she absolutely killed it. She had an awesome block at the end and brought an energy that helped her team- “the not slimy carrots”- have F-U-N to the M-A-X! Congrats on COD Madeline!
Today’s 1st period COD was Grace Downing for their amazing performance the whole period. This fisher kept their rod in the water the whole time and really shined on the dock. Our 4th period COD was the fantastic Rowan Peterson for catching a fish big enough to send down the slide and well over 2.5 planks! Pretty fish-tastic if I do say so!! Go Rowan! Our last, but not least, COD was Dominic Sanchez for catching a huge fish and setting a new PR. He went out and truly conquered lake Dealey! #fishking
Today’s 2nd period fishing pro COD was the amazing Sarah Meader for her kind heart and positive attitude. She kept her head held up high the whole period and was an awesome social butterfly!
The COD for football is Alaina Dudley after being the most supportive teammate and motivating everyone in the class!
Our first COD was Jackson Boone! He was the friendliest hiker this Friday! Grant Fraser was our second period COD for his leadership and enthusiasm! Audrey Patton was our awesome third period COD for her helpfulness and resilience. Our fifth period COD, David Dunlap, participated enthusiastically and had awesome energy! Way to go!
Owen Aderhold did an amazing job today at free choice Friday, coming up with creative ways to play each hole and have tons of fun! Awesome job Owen!
Lila Muecke is the COD for 4th period rock climbing! Lila was so excited to climb today and spread so much positive energy and encouragement throughout the class. After a whole week of non-stop F-U-N climbing, Gaby Maggiora finally reached her goal of touching the moon! For that, she deserves a huge congratulations and our 5th period COD!
A normal shirt has 4 holes, but after Friday’s iteration of Sweeney riflery Eleanor’s had too many to count! Today, Eleanor McCalpin was an absolute rockstar-this camper ought to be in Vogue for how this shirt turned out! Way to go! #Binkybonky
In the first ever inaugural institution of advanced riflery’s super-ultra-mega speedrun gauntlet, Cristian Sandoval put down the fastest time of the day and got it done! In addition to his ludacris speed, Cristian’s accuracy couldn’t be beat as he knocked ’em down! Way to go Cristian! #Meow!
The rocketry COD for Flyday Friday is Owen Aderhold. Owen was super excited to see his rocket fly all the way to Sweeney space station.
COD for roller hockey goes to John Henry Ingram for his unstoppable offensive in the rink. Helped his team to a win over the fearsome counselors.
COD for skatepark goes to Luke Sparks for his amazing ramp feats today. He tumbled through adversity and rose through the rails for all to see!
Zayden Tibbs looked like a combination of Tiger Woods & David Beckham in our game of Foot Golf on good ol’ Sweeney National!
COD is Cash Halpin who netted a goal and helped his team to a 6-1 victory in soccer-ironman scrimmage!

Nolan Kelly is your 2nd period swimming COD! Nolan made some spectacular football catches on the wibit & was having so much F-U-N. Congrats Nolan! 4th period swimming COD is Devyn Saunders! Devyn was not only having a great time but she was also helping out other campers in the pool too! Congrats to William Tredennick for being 5th period swimming’s COD! Will is always doing it all every period!
Our COD for swing dance was Tayah Scott! Tayah is so ready for tomorrow’s performance. She brought a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the class! Great job Tayah!

3rd period COD for ultimate frisbee is Tyler Stanford! Tyler played great today and launched some fabulous flicks. 5th period COD is Bella Urieta! Bella played great defense and chased the disc down for multiple touchdowns.
Vid Pro’s COD is Amanda Pfeifer! She had great energy during our singing session and did amazing capturing the sound of our artists.
Today’s volleyball COD is Grace Downing! She was not afraid to dive in the sand, staying active all while having so much F-U-N! Go Grace!
Our water games COD is Gaby Maggiora! Gaby was having a great time playing games & made sure everyone around her was having one too! Yay Gaby!!
Our 3rd period waterpark COD was Colt Crum! He was helping out all the younger campers have so much F-U-N and overall being such a great sport to everyone! Our 4th period COD was Pablo De la Mora! He did such a dope backflip off the trampoline and is always having so much F-U-N at the waterpark. Our 5th period COD was Charlie Olesen-Mabey! He was so patient and got to ride the jetski for the first time today! On top of that, he was helping other campers learn how to flip off the trampoline. Way to go Charlie!
The COD for 3rd period weightlifting is James Peninger for carrying the class on his back with his energy and enthusiasm. Our 4th period COD is Camden Caldwell for lifting all the weight on bench press. Our 5th period COD is Madeline Hauptli for being willing to learn and having a great workout because of it. Congrats to these Sweeney lifters!
Our zumba COD is Cali Smith! She had so much F-U-N and danced with everyone the whole time! You’re our zumba queen Cali!
