Arts & Crafts
We had three outstanding CODs today in Arts and Crafts. In second period it was Madelynne Neece who took home the gold ! She was awesome about helping pick up the classroom and embraced the 4th of July bracelet making with full force! During third period, Macey Brodin was super involved and spent the time coloring! Madeline Hauptli was the COD of 4th period! She taught others how to make a super duper bracelet! Great job Arts and Crafters!
Boating and Canoeing
Our period 1 COD in Boating and Canoeing was Tukker Scott! She was super hesitant to get in the water with those pirates on this lovely Pirate Tuesday, but she braved the lake and got in a boat and had so much F-U-N! Great job Tukker! COD for period 2 Boating and Canoeing was Lucas Latorre! He showed great leadership skills helping the younger kids fend off those pirates and get back in canoes when they got flipped! Way to go Lucas!
In first period Cross Country the COD was Gage Owen! Nothing could phase him on today’s brutal run up the hill. He really showed off his killer speed when he finished first during our sprint down to the SAC from the flag pole! Congrats Gage!
Our Disc Golf COD was Amanda Pfeifer!!! She was absolutely killing it and learning new throws. Congrats Amanda!
Got any fives? Go fish! And that’s exactly what Julie Walker did as she caught not four, but five Lake Dealey beauties in the morning’s soiree! Way to go Julie – can’t wait to catch more in the morning! You’re the first period COD! The third period Fishing COD was a camper whose been a “reel” one since day one. He’s always enthusiastic and really has a positive Sweeney attitude. Put your hands together for Norman Mandavia!
In second period Fishing Pro the COD was Cody Morey! This fish hook master was helping out the whole class today. He was the go-to guy for all the big catches!
The COD in period three Football was Aron Handsome! After throwing a spectacular touchdown pass that had people’s jaws dropping, he looked like a Hall of Famer!
There were some fantastic campers in Hiking today! Aero Jameson was amazing in class with the brightest smile! Ben Delhougne was outgoing, enthusiastic and a big leader! And Roberto Poma brought the hike to hiking! He was super active today in class and never gave up in the Sweeney heat! Great job CODs of Hiking!
In third period Lacrosse the COD and top cheddar shredder was Reid Welch! Reid displayed great tenacity and effort while working super hard!!!
The fourth period Miniature Golf COD was William Tredennick! He did an awesome job showing the ropes to some of our new campers in minigolf. He even helped put up all of our hole signs. Great job William!
In first period Paintball Combat the COD was Reid Welch! Reid showed incredible toughness and courage as he was the last man standing on his team! Congrats Reid!
The COD for period three was throwin’ them up and knockin’ them down in Tuesday’s eppisode of Sweeney Riflery. To say it was electric would be an understatement as Avery Dietz lit up the range as she knocked down 5 of 6 of her clays – a class best! Way to go Avery! #Rawr!
The fourth period COD in Rock Climbing today was Parker Lyda! He not only flew down the zip line twice in one class, but had enough energy left to help put away everyone’s equipment! Give a warm welcome to the beefiest Byrne bro, Parker Lyda!
The COD today in first period Rocketry was Arabella Machet! She did an amazing job building her first rocket. She plans on finishing the rocket tomorrow and being ready for Fly-day Friday!
Grayson Smith was the COD in Roller Hockey today! He gave a beast of a performance with his awesome hockey skills. Grayson took down all of his opposition and carried his team to the win!
Today in period 1 Skatepark our COD was A.J. Schiebler! A.J. gave an amazing performance in the park as he rallied his courage to shred some rails and taught many more how to kickfly!
The COD for period 4 Soccer Ironman was Sebastian Freire! He looked like the Ironman flying up and down the field today in class! Great job!
Callum MacGregor was the COD in second period Sweeney Fit! He was a leader in working out and stretching, and helped inspire everyone in the class.
Our COD from 3rd period Swing Dance was Cody Lightfoot! Cody had so much energy throughout the whole class and really got to master the Hoe Down Throw Down steps. Great job Cody!
In first period Tennis the COD was Dominick Messina! Dominick is so much F-U-N in tennis and we can’t wait to play with him again tomorrow! Yay Dominick!
Second period Theater COD was Izzy Maggiora! She was extremely witty, quick on her feet and kept all of the games going! Way to go Izzy!
Today’s COD was the ultimate hype woman during today’s outdoor tumbling class! She was super positive and helped her fellow campers with some really awesome stunts! Shoutout to Hayden Hammonds for her leadership and hard work!
The COD in period 2 Ultimate Frisbee was Cash Halpin! Cash had a great day learning how to throw and had some great touchdown catches!
COD in second period Volleyball was J.C. Contreras! J.C. was bumping, setting and spiking his way to victory in volleyball!
Our COD for third period Weightlifting was Emma Joyce! She overcame some adversity to still have a good workout and get the gains! Congrats! Our fourth period COD in Weightlifting was Julie Tyler! She gave an impressive showing of sheer motivation and drive for getting Swole! Congrats!
COD in Zumba class goes to Rhea Sumpter! Rhea danced his heart out and showed so much engagement! He is such a ZUMBA KING!
