Lainey Gallucci was on fire today in 2nd period archery! She dominated the tic-tac-toe game and beat the head archery counselor! We can’t wait to see what she does next! #bullseye
Arts and Crafts
Avery Dickinson was arts and crafts period 2 COD! She had a great time getting creative and made a beautiful button themed notebook! Oliver Schuller was our COD for arts and crafts period 3! She made a fantastic googly-eyed masterpiece as her notebook craft for the day! Oliver also brought up the classroom spirit with her amazing braiding skills! Kamryn Sitton is our COD for 4th period arts and crafts! She was gluing, sticking, and crafting up a storm to create an exquisite notebook with an awesome design! Lauren Uribe was our COD for period 5 in arts and crafts! She made a beautiful notebook with her jr. ment!
Baseball
Congrats to Louie Giddings on COD in 2nd period baseball! Not only was he one of the best players I have ever seen. He was selfless and helped with catching. He looked like a mini Johnny Bench out there. Go Louie!!
Basketball
Today’s COD in 3rd period basketball is Faith “Caitlyn Clark” Vogel. She led the Blue Jurangadon team to victory, displaying amazing leadership. Good job Faith!
Basketball Advanced
In 1st period advanced basketball, our COD is Lila Laurence. Lila looked like a young Steph Curry on the court today, showing off her great shooting technique. Hooray Lila!
Boating and Canoeing
In 1st period boating and canoeing the COD was Johnny Meyer! He was a huge help including everyone and always had a smile on his face! In 2nd period boating and canoeing the COD was Emerson Jones for her great attitude and conversation on the water!
Broadcasting
The COD in 1st period broadcasting is Sebastien Thibodeau. He led today’s program with energy and had the ultimate flow. Look out for this smooth host’s next program! COD in 2nd period broadcasting is Jadeh Santoyo. This first timer host is a natural pro. Stay tuned for her next debut!
Challenge Course
Today, in 1st challenge course, Mari Bolton didn’t let the unfortunate events of today get her down. She was playing, laughing, and smiling the day away! This camper, in 2nd period challenge course, made her way to the top SUPER fast. She was able to “hype” herself up and take the giant leap off of the pole. Congrats to Rachel Grishman! Our COD in 3rd period challenge course, Rommie Harvill, did a phenomenal job at the power-pole today. He cracked jokes and overcame any fear. We are proud of you!
Choir
Cady Blair was COD for 3rd period choir for her lyrical genius and stellar song writing skills!
Cross Country
In the blazing sun and despite all the walking, previously, in all Camp Sweeney time, Anna Johnson is Sweeney XC’s COD!! She showed strong will, radiated positivity, and encouraged everyone else to be in a motivated spirit!! Awesome work and great leadership! She never fails to look out for other runners.
Disc Golf
Today we played our first round of disc golf and Zane Matthews played really well! He had one of the lowest scores of the day and a flawless score card. Way to go Zane!
Field Games
With her brick wall defense and lightning fast hands, our 3rd period field games COD Micayla Green helped keep the skibidis alive in their generational capture the Flag Clash against the rival Flaming Bananas!
Fishing
Hayden Flanagan patiently waited for a fish and supported those who caught one. He actively participated and braved the flooded dock. In 5th period fishing Reagan Goodman has been practicing her casting and baiting all week. She was able to bait all on her own today and caught her first fish of the summer! Also in 5th period fishing Kade McCullough was very helpful. He took so many fish off the hook for Fish Fry Friday. He saved many fish from hopping off the deck. Margot Silva caught the first catfish of the summer in 4th period fishing. She persevered and kept at it even though she hadn’t caught anything before that. She was brave and got the catfish off the hook.
Fishing Pro
Kamryn Winburn helped other campers on the dock bait their fish and cast. She let other people fish in her spot so that they could catch fish too. She caught her first fish of the summer!
Football
COD in football is Sebastien Thibodeau. He was amazing with his intensity and energy. He also was stupendous at QB and WR!
Hiking
Give it up for Caleb Sowers, our first period hiking COD! Caleb worked hard at hiking today and conquered reaction hill! Congrats Caleb! Our COD for 2nd period, Cheyenne LaConte, eased her way through the trails like a true wilderness explorer, sending Dora the Explorer on a run for her money! She ensured another camper drank all of their juice, despite it being revolting grape flavor.
Lacrosse
Our COD Bryson Brotherton kept up the energy for the whole 4th period group in lacrosse! Another big shoutout to Madeline Keffer for chasing the ball even with birkenstocks on. The muddy field had nothing on them when it came to stealing the bacon!
Miniature Golf
Rommie Harvill was our stellar COD in 4th period mini golf today! He showed up and showed off his skills for his practice round preparing for our tournament Friday and Saturday! Way to go Rommie!
Paintball Combat
First period’s COD in paintball combat, Addisyn Baker, has been absolutely killing it this week. Especially today as she took risks to advance for her team. She is one brave lady! Way to go! During 2nd period, COD Duck (also known as Brennan Duckworth) was a beast on the paintball field and helped out the counselors. You rock! Go, Duck, go!

COD Linden Wiberg had a blast practicing her skills in 5th period paintball jr. Way to go, Linden!
Riflery
Riflery 3rd period COD goes to Olivia Magano, who went from cadet to special ops in her marksmanship abilities in 1 day. Thank you, sergeant stephene for your help coaching her!
Riflery-Advanced
Advanced Riflery COD goes to Riggins Ford for his incredible assistance in helping coach future shotgun professionals. Pump it up!
Rock Climbing
Olivia Magana was an absolute BEAST today in 4th period rock climbing today and was the only one to touch the moon in one attempt! We are super excited to see the new heights she reaches soon! Some say Brooke Rabatou is the. best American woman climber; others say Ellie Cull. Ellie got higher and higher after each try on the latter and had infinite perseverance!
Rocketry
COD in 1st period rocketry goes to Andrew Giddings for launching the highest rocket Camp Sweeney has ever seen!! The hunt for the rocket will be continued and Andrew is eager to find it!
Roller Hockey
It was confusing to see a NHL player at Camp Sweeney’s Roller Hockey class today! Grayson Smith is an unstoppable force on the #CementIce!
Skate Park
It’s been said resilience is Zane Matthews middle name based on the skate park today. Not only did he fall trying something new, he immediately got up and tried another new thing! #TrustTheProcess

In a 1v1 between today’s COD in 1st period soccer, Damiyn Gomez and Lionel Messi. I pick Damiyn 10 times out of 10!
Soccer – Ironman
Soccer Ironman’s 5th period COD, Jett Wiswall, really turned on the JETS today! Scoring goal after goal!
Sweeney Fit
Today’s COD in 4th period Sweeney Fit demonstrated her athlete powers throughout all of the workouts. Weslyn Huckin’s teamwork helped keep the spirit high all of class. Great work Weslyn!
Swimming
Congrats to 2nd period swimming COD Henley Harris, who made a splash playing an epic game of tag. Love the enthusiasm Henley! Our superstar COD in 5th period swimming , JoCiyah Ivery caught some epic passes with the football all in the water! We know he’ll continue to make a splash the rest of the week! 4th period’s swimming COD, Felix Holland, put in outstanding work and conquered the wibit for the very first time! #wibitwarrior
Swing Dance
Rachel Grishman was a stellar dancer today in 4th period swing dance. She encouraged all members of the class and pushed all dancers to let loose and express themselves. So excited to see her return!
Tennis
John Michael Barbeito brought the energy and passion to 1st period tennis on his very first day! He had the most spin, poise, and consistency I have ever seen since Roger Federer!
Tumbling
Today in 3rd period tumbling Gio Munthali not only excelled in his handstand walking, but also showed up with a great attitude and was super encouraging to those around him as always. Great work Gio!
Ultimate Frisbee
Bryson Brotherton stood out above the rest in 3rd period ultimate frisbee. He is the ULTIMATE player of the DAY. He used a new technique that he learned. He ran across the field. No one could defend Bryson, but Bryson defended everyone. He becomes a better player every time he steps on the field and we are happy to have him.
Video Production
In 5th period Video Production, curious editor McKenna Carra, steals the show in as she patiently practices producing. We can’t wait to see her finished results!
Volleyball
Charlie, in 2nd period volleyball, was a wall on defense with some awesome blocks and steller kills that lead his team to victory. Great job Charlie!
Water Games
Our COD in 3rd period water games is Thomas Malmgren! He stayed engaged the whole period and was hanging with many campers in the class and of course he stood tall at the highest point of wibit. Way to go Thomas!
Waterpark
In 3rd period waterpark Lainey Gallucci kept everyone involved on the trampoline and made sure everyone got a turn! In 4th period waterpark Avi Grishman successfully conquered both breadsticks. He definitely kept good energy the whole time and had fun with his fellow campers. #ICEEEE
Weightlifting
COD in 3rd period weightlifting goes to Blake Strawn for always putting hard work in the weight room. Keep repping; those biceps are looking huge! Lochlan Ambrogi worked hard for himself and others in 5th period weightlifting! He made sure that the younger campers were working hard with good form. Good work!
Zumba
Lily Boaz was a rockstar in 1st period Zumba. She went HARD and her rockin moves, high energy, and enthusiasm made Zumba F-U-N!
