Arts and Crafts
Ashton Khavari was our COD for period 2 arts and crafts! He was super excited about our craft of the day and put in a ton of effort to learn a new bracelet pattern. Emily Johnson was the COD for period 3 arts and crafts! She did a fantastic job on today’s bracelet weaving project, and ended up with a stunning piece of art!! Addie Truhe was our COD for 4th period arts and crafts! She made a beautiful bracelet and helped those around her! Great job, Addie! Rylan Smith was our COD for 5th period arts and crafts! He was a quick learner and made a very snazzy woven bracelet!
Baseball
Congrats to Mason Anderson on COD. He used his favorite bat and hit an absolute bomb. It was great to see. #ICEEEEE
Basketball
Today in basketball, the amazing sharpshooter Drew Blackwelder won COD. His tenacious defense and perfect playmaking proved beneficial in defeating the jurangadon team!
Basketball Advanced
Grayson aka “moneyball” Brooks was the advanced basketball COD. She rebounded, passed, and shot to perfection. Great job today, Grayson.
Boating and Canoeing
The COD today was Avery Clay for her great attitude on the water and great paddling!
Broadcasting
COD is Levi Lee! This creative mastermind brought his very own segment of CODs. Stay tuned to hear what he brings next to the radio. Griffin Ward COD puts the RAD in radio! This killer sport host brought the energy and knows how to have F-U-N to the M-A-X!
Challenge Course
Clarice Zeller was our first period COD in challenge course after being one of the first people of the year to conquer the zip-line. Congrats, Clarice! Jonas Ruckel was our COD after bringing an undeniable energy to the zip-line in challenge course! Congrats, Jonas! Wynn Behnke was our COD after going down the zip-line and helping younger campers throughout the day. Congrats, Wynn!
Choir
Cady Blair is COD for crafting the most amazing chorus and sharing off her beautiful voice in our jam session.
Cross Country
For our FIRST LEGENDARY Lake run, Sweeney XC’s COD is RJ King! RJ demonstrated great leadership and enthusiasm. He went out of his way to keep track of his other fellow runners and kept the trail clear by opening gates. Sweeney XC is proud to have RJ. His dedication and perseverance really shines through! Awesome work.
Disc Golf
Today we played in teams and Charlie Spiegel led his team to victory. He threw the disc really far and almost had a hole in one! Great job, Charlie!
Field Games
The field game COD is Felix Holland! He fought valiantly to pull the skibidis out of their losing streak to the flowing bananas, even putting his body on the line and taking a tumble into the dirt. Awesome effort, Felix!
Fishing
Our 1st period COD, Harper Swartwout, caught her first ever fish and did an awesome job keeping morale high for the other campers! Our COD, Ryan Lauw, waited all period and reeled in a big one last minute! It was worth the wait! Our COD, Jack Bowman, caught a 3.5 planker! With the biggest fish of Lake Dealey under his belt he helped others after!
Football
COD for football was Nich Miller for sick touchdown catches and lockdown defense.
Hiking
Congrats to Levi Lee, our COD for first period hiking! Levi was extraordinarily friendly on this beautiful friendly Friday! Congrats! Clarice Zeller brought the fun and vibrant atmosphere that friendly Fridays are all about. She digged through the mulch and looked for bugs and let her inner adventurer shine. And of course she talked about bananas. #BANANAS. Avery Clark led by example during our hike today. She was encouraging and a true joy to be around. I cannot wait to see her win a Noble Peace Prize in the future. Congrats to Grace Minatra, our 5th period hiking COD! She braved the wilderness and was exceptionally friendly leading our cheers for Friendly Friday! Congrats!
Lacrosse
Our COD, Sabrina Streich, showed us what a real lacrosse 3 vs 3 looks like! She stayed on the field the whole time and kept up the enthusiasm the entire time! Lacrosse loves you, Sabrina!
Paintball Combat
Today was an epic one in the paintball arena Connor Baldauf was our COD as encouraged his teammates to take risks and advance to victory. A true leader! 2nd period’s COD, Liam Gentry, was his team’s captain and showed new bravery and initiative. Love to see it!
Paintball jr
COD, Margot Silva, absolutely rocked today in paintball jr! She has shown so so much improvement in her aim and safety skills. Way to go!
Pro Fishing
Our 2nd period Pro Fishing COD was Carson Lunnie. Carson was reeling fish in left and right. He also did awesome sharing supplies and helping out!
Riflery
Riflery COD goes to Marksman Jack Bowman for his perfect record in competition shooting. Jack sniped 5/5 targets and shot nine more in a row in under 20 seconds.
Riflery-Advanced
Advanced riflery COD goes to Avery Clay, who had an amazing performance in target practice and participated throughout the whole class!
Rock Climbing
Rock climbing period 4 COD goes to Dylan Gustafson! Dylan scaled the wall countless times without tiring once to earn himself COD! Dominic Reinhart absolutely DOMINATED on the climbing wall today and had the biggest smile on his face after he high-fived those rims on top the highest peak of Mt. Nick #BEASTT
Rocketry
COD goes to Andrew Giddings for his ability to build an entire rocket and launch it in one period. Who would of thought that would be possible?
Roller Hockey
During a scorching hot day, Allegra Thackray not only brought enough energy for all of us, but showed us how easy it is to do it all!
Skate Park
Remi Heide showed all of skatepark just why slow and steady win the race! He diligently practiced everyday with great discipline. #trusttheprocess. Madeline Keffer was the ultimate COD. She has hustled across the field all week. She is a team player and always takes initiative. She was a pleasure to have in the activity and she is a role model.
Soccer
I need someone to fix the hole in the net, left by Lainey Gallucci’s power shots! Oli Oli Oli! Via Via Via! She may be small, but she’s fast and has that fighter spirit just like Messi, for real! Olivia Magana is our soccer period 1 COD!
Soccer – Ironman
Harper Swartwout is our COD for soccer-ironman! Post after post after post after post. But one finally goes in! Give it up for Harper!
Sweeney Fit
The Sweeney Fit COD is Dani Hart! She truly was the heart of the group today as we completed the Swoldier Challenge. Way to go, Dani!
Swimming
Caleb Novoa, our 2nd period COD was always making sure others could finish their wibit run sometimes at the expense of his own. Thanks to Caleb for making swimming more F-U-N! Our COD for 4th period swimming crushed the wibit races with his mentor. With some slips Teddy McNally became victorious at the finish line. 5th period’s swimming COD, Sydnee Michael, showed some amazing resilience. She attempted to conquer the challenges of the wibit so many times, and although she fell, she got right back up. That’s why she eventually succeeding, becoming a true simming wibit warrior. Great work, Sydnee!
Swing Dance
Brynn Hayles rocked swing dance today! Amidst a world of Thriller, she stood out with her passion, excitement, and enthusiasm for dance. A leader of the class through and through!
Tennis
When a fellow tennis phenom needed assistance, Ellie Cull was ready to step in and hold down their throne in King/Queen of the court! She was defending better than a brick wall and had the crown the longest out of any group!
Theater
Oliver Schuller acted her heart out in theatre class and was very entertaining in a stunning display of “yes and!”
Tumbling
Not only a superstar on the mat, Kamryn Sitton is also a spectacular team member in our class. She led stretches for us today, helped others with tips, AND got her backhandspring on the dead mat!
Ultimate Frisbee
Brendan Cappellini was our 5th period ultimate frisbee COD! Running and even diving for the long throws helped team Pylon keep the oompa loompas on their toes and tied up the game! Our 5th period ultimate COD goes to the most motivated, hardest working, and truly talented player Cooper Shackelford! Great hustle, good sportsmanship, and incredible skills! Great job!
Video Production
COD for Vid Pro goes to Hannah Osteen who perfectly pivoted to provide positivity prime film for our interview. Congrats, Hannah!
Volleyball
Today’s COD for volleyball is Harper Swartwout! She was cheering on her team with her song and dance to baby shark and led her team to victory with her killer serves. Great work today, Harper!
Water Games
The COD, Max Clasen, truly persevered today. Max played an exhilarating and hard-fought game of jackpot with the older boys yet he was always smiling. Congrats, Max and keep making a splash.
Waterpark
Slippin & Slidin, Peepin & Hidin, Zane Matthews slid a long time agooooo. Congrats to Zane for swan diving into the slide for the first time. #getupgetup. Is that a swan? A fish? A gurangodon? NOOO, it’s George Mitchell, Noah Maciel, Cooper Adams, and Cooper Bradley sliding down at max speed, similar to Lewis Hamilton trying to finally dethrown Max! #upgoeshamilton
Weightlifting
Rylee Carter showed up at weightlifting class with incredible motivation and a want to learn. Keep up the good work, Rylee! COD, Cali Jomsky, benched 60 pounds in the weight room and kept the energy and really brought motivation to others. Keep up the gains, Cali! In our Halloween themed Zumba class, Madeline Keffer was ready for tricks or treats! She became a Ghostbuster, a pumpkin, and a princess and gave each her all!
