Arts and Crafts
Sarina Adhikari was the COD for 4th period arts and crafts! She made a beautifully decorated picture frame! Great job, Sarina! Amelie Milam was the COD for 5th period arts and crafts! She made not one but two awesome picture frames!
Disc Golf
Throughout the week, Lauren Uribe has brought the energy to disc golf. She’s been a positive person to be around and she’s been improving each class. Great job, Lauren!
Fishing
Kaitlyn Cullar caught her very first fish today. She dropped her line, explored the depths of Lake Dealy, and found a fantastic fish. Making her 4th period COD. Tess Wanish didn’t put a pole in the water but made a huge difference helping line poles and keeping positive! Making her 5th period fishing COD!
Hiking
Trekking dangerous trails and climbing the toughest hills, Grayson Smith is our COD! On top of conquering Reaction Hill, Grayson showed true grit and determination, helping lead a fellow camper back to our destination! Congrats!
Lacrosse
Today, everyone contributed to a great scrimmage, but one camper really brought his A-game! Shoutout to our COD Liam Ray! Lacrosse loves you!
Miniature Golf
It was tournament day at Sweeney National! 18 holes of F-U-N and I’m incredibly impressed with the low scores all across the board! But rising above everyone else with a low score of 30 was Owen Kunkel! Can’t wait for another awesome week of Sweeney National!
Paintball Junior
COD, Linden Wiberg, practiced shooting at targets in the woods and even discovered a frog. Keep exploring, Linden, and way to go!
Riflery Advanced
COD for advanced riflery goes to RJ King, who helped make sure all campers were safe after a gun jammed unexpectedly. He also helped encourage participation and demonstrated selflessness by letting younger shooters go first. Thank you, RJ!
Rock Climbing
June Johnston selflessly sacrificed her time to help manage the ropes and assist in keeping her fellow climbers strapped in and safe. Making her rock climbing period 4 COD! Oliver Schuller brought the enthusiasm and lifted everyone up as she lifted herself to new record high points on the wall, making her period 5 rock climbing COD.
Sweeney Fit
Our COD, Weslyn Huckin, showed her fearless leadership as she led the entire group through some incredible yoga poses. Keep up the great work, Weslyn!
Swimming
In 5th period swimming, Betty Richmond was awarded COD for her wonderful enthusiasm! Keep up the amazing work!
Swing Dance
Charley Bellamy-Fetterman was on fire today! Her exuberant and cheerful attitude an positive demeanor was so lovely to see. So excited for the rest of session with her.
Theater
Theatre’s COD is Levi Lee. He’s been acting realistically and amazingly this whole week in games of “yes and” and “new choice.” His enthusiasm is amazing in the class!
Weightlifting
COD for 4th period weightlifting is Charlie Tullis. Charlie gets COD for pushing himself and going above and beyond on the bench press. Honorable Mention:this person gets 5 tokens for hitting a bench PR of 230 pounds. Congrats, Will McClelland! Fahed Emadaldeen didn’t let an injured ankle stop him from making gains! He took to some pushups and sit ups out in the sun, working on the sun and the physique.
