COD today in choir goes to Ella Rhett! She was so enthusiastic in class today! She sang, danced, and got other campers to participate as well! Ella was a true ROCKSTAR TODAY! WOOH!
Our final COD of session 3 LAX is Jolie Scharg! Although Jolie came to lacrosse for the first time yesterday, she went all in. She made some great passes and catches and showed her enthusiasm and spirit all period on the field. Her passion for the class brought a lot of F-U-N to our class. Great work Jolie!
Our Mini Golf COD, Nathaniel Weaverling, played some great games and had a ton of F-U-N! Congrats Nathaniel!

Our final COD of the summer in Tumbling is Mara Matthews! She was singing, dancing, flipping and jumping the entire period! So proud of her for getting out of her comfort zone! She learned a lot this week! Great job Mara!
COD Colt Kerr ended third period Waterpark with an absolute F-U-N splashdown in Lake Dealey! For fourth period, everyone gave it their all, making them all COD’s!
Today’s 3rd period COD in Weightlifting was Joey Howard! He has been consistently putting the work in all three weeks and I could not be more proud to have him as the final COD!!! Today’s 4th period COD was Owen Saunderson!! Always eager to lift and learn, Owen has been killing it all session. Great Job!!
Today’s archery COD came from Simmons, it was Lundyn Cox! She sacrificed a lot to keep everyone both happy and entertained and had a great attitude the entire time there. Thank you Lundyn for being such a good sport and having fun!
Stone Bishop is our period 2 COD! He was amazing today! He had a positive attitude & really enjoyed musical canvases! You are the best, Stone! Asher Green is our period 3 COD! There’s no better way to end the 2022 Boating & Canoeing season than with pirate Tuesday! And our CODs truly shined bright. Jojo Ray has been taking B & C for 2 sessions straight & there’s no better lake conversationalist. Georgia Carter was also a Lake Dealey stunner. We will miss y’all!
Ava Kate Scarborough! She did a fascinating segment on the Nintendo Switch, and taught us all a lot. Period 2 COD was Laken Kennedy! It was her first time in the booth, and she did her segment with energy and enthusiasm!
The last week of Challenge Course started with a banger as Noah Reyes conquered his fears. He rode the zipline with excitement in his eyes and a smile on his face. Morgan Moore led second period in tons of F-U-N to the M-A-X with a great attitude and even better tip on the zip. Nathan Demaray finished out the day with our 3rd period COD. He helped others and made sure we got everyone a turn. Way to go you three!
COD goes to Avery Mercer! Her energy was incredible today and sportsmanship has been so awesome. On top of that she did an amazing job at the talent show! YAY AVERY!

Today’s 1st period fishing COD is Angel Powell! Angela has worked enthusiastically every class to catch a fish. She finally caught her first fish ever today, officially making her a fisherman! Keep up the great work! Our 4th period COD is Judene Barnett. Judene caught a beautiful 1.69 lbs large mouth bass and was excited to show all her friends. We love the energy and positivity Judene brings to the dock each day. Awesome job, Judene! Chloe Santana is our final 5th period 4:30 pm COD of summer 2022! Chloe was eager to get after the fish today and her enthusiasm was felt by the entire dock. Even with high temps and few nibbles, Chloe continues to put her line in the water. Great job, Chloe!
Our COD for pro fishing is Braden Cram! Braden has been coming to fishing for a while now and he continues to improve. Today he caught a two plank large mouth bass! Great job, Braden!
Today’s COD is Noah Reyes! He came into class with a positive attitude and hyped up everybody on his team and the other team to make sure everybody had fun! Not only that, but he also made some fantastic plays of his own!
Period 1:Even when it is our last week, this COD is still going out of their way to meet people! Hannah Powell has embodied the hiking spirit and been an awesome addition to the class! Period 2:This COD put it all in to their possible last day of hiking! Amelia Stokes had a great pace and even better conversations! Amazing job, Amelia! Period 3:This COD did a fantastic job stepping up as a leader and role model for the class today. Julia Brumer was incredibly helpful and a great hiker all session long! Period 5:This COD has been amazing in hiking for not one but two sessions! Noa Eisenberg comes to class energetic and ready for an adventure every day! Great job Noa and happy birthday!!!

Isaiah Ortega was a new shooter on Monday. However today he knew how to load and unload every gun properly. He even ended up hitting a few targets!!!
Gunar Freeman has been coming to riflery advanced for three weeks and has been constantly improving. Today, he performed excellently even after a minor range injury!
Today’s 4th period COD is Landon Jackman! He did an amazing job on his first day at rock climbing! Congrats, Landon! The 5th period COD is Coltin Lawson! Coltin beat his PR times and cheered everyone on! What a great last day in rock climbing! Congrats, Coltin!

Today’s COD is Nathaniel Weaverling! On this very fine, last day of tennis for S3 2022, Nathaniel absolutely aced it! From giving it his all in every game to being a good sport and helping his peers, Nathaniel showed that he’s definitely small but mighty. Keep being a champ, Nathaniel!!
Our final COD is Dae Dae Lake! He was rocking it flipping and jumping around the entire time. So glad he joined tumbling this week! Hopefully period 3 gets picked for tomorrow so Dae Dae can show off his tricks one more time!

It was a bittersweet last Monday of Summer 2022 in Boating & Canoeing, but first period COD Grant Laughlin brought us home with his passion, dedication, and consideration for others. MEGA CANOE MONDAY!!! Could not have asked for a better day in Boating & Canoeing second period! Our COD Jackson Crowe showed us how to be the “bestest captain of the lake” there ever was! So proud!

Fishing 1st period COD is Inara Colon! Although no fish were caught, Inara brought a lot of enthusiasm to the class, as always. This time, she worked tirelessly to catch a fish on El Pescado and kept a positive attitude the whole day! Great effort!
Today’s COD for football is Abby Prins! Although it was her first time in the class, she played like a seasoned Sweeney Football Veteran and helped lead her team to victory! She showed great energy on both sides of the ball and even scored the game winning touchdown!
Today’s COD in Pro-Fishing is Ottilia Padden! Despite a slow day on the dock, Ottilia worked tirelessly to catch a fish as she has all session. She never lets adversity slow her down and has brought a positive attitude to Lake Dealey everyday! Keep up the great work!
Caslyn Gamble is the Roller Hockey COD! Caslyn has mastered the fine art of both rolling and skating at the same time. She was a hero, scoring not one but TWO between-the-legs goals! With how she rolled her way into the COD spot, it’s no gamble that Caslyn will shine like the star she is for millennia to come until she bursts into a beautiful roller hockey supernova!
Today’s COD in first period Soccer is Rodrigo Fragoso Aquilar! For this being his first day in the class, he killed it! He had some great plays and was an awesome teammate. keep it up, Rodrigo!
Today was a very special day in tennis because we had 2 CODs! – Elliot Derington and Zach Winders!!! Both guys absolutely killed it on their first day in tennis. Not only did they have F-U-N to the M-A-X, but they also mentored the younger campers. Keep being awesome boys!!!

Joey Howard has been an invaluable member at riflery these past two weeks. He’s constantly assisting the counselors with safety and set up while being one of the best shots with a shotgun. Give it up for Joey winning a well deserved COD!

It’s flipping fish Friday & our COD Miss Lucy Bartram killed it on the paddle board. She was paddling like no other. In our super silly second period, Violet Milliken was a shining example of a stellar sea captain. It was a spectacular finish to the week!

Period 2 COD goes to Nathaniel Weaverling for his fantastic dinosaur impression and translation of dinosaur language! He had lots of energy and ideas and he livened up the whole broadcast! First zip day of week 2 blasted off as Hadrian Silveus took COD. He showed a great attitude and had so much F-U-N. Second period was also amazing as Katie Elliott flew like a Maverick not once, but twice down the zipline. Way to go, Katie! Zella Stricklin zipped like a strike of lightening in challenge course, winning COD for bravery, leadership, and honor. Stone Bishop showed off some stone-cold throwing skills today, hitting the Top-Gun target dead-on and uplifting friends like a true flight commander. Congrats to all of our totally awesome CODs!
Today’s cross country COD was Bates Pulliam! Bates has been an absolute stud all session long and was especially a beast today! Congratulations Bates! We are very proud of you!
Dominic Cooper is our first period fishing COD. Dominic had to take some time off, but returned better than ever today! He caught two big bass and named on Billie Bob. He also slingshot one a mile high! Great job Dom-tha bomb! Today’s COD is Landon Jackman! Despite the threat of a thunderstorm looming overhead, Landon managed to reel a fish in, the only one in class! Great work Landon!
Today’s COD is Grace Oathout! After working timelessly all week, Grace reeled in her first fish, a huge 4.35 lb bass! Great catch and keep up the great work!
Our ultimate frisbee COD, Maddy Martiny was absolutely fabulous on the field today. Maddy always plays so hard and is a great team player on the field. Total game changer!

For the final Friday of a fantastically F-U-N session of volleyball at the Sweeneyland sand courts, Brendan Harding earned COD! Woo-hoo! Brendan showed his love for the game by charging the ball, playing all the way around, and encouraging his teammates! He’s a #hotguy leader on & off the court & an absolute pleasure to have in class. Maddy Knippa is COD for swimming 2nd period. On this last inflation Friday, Maddy earned COD for enhancing true splashtastic F-U-N, especially on the wibit, otherwise known as F-U-N central! Keep up the great work, Knippa! 4th period swimming COD is Colin Moore. Colin joined us in the pool this week and really enabled more F-U-N. There was definitely a difference. Thank you, Colin!
