Huge shoutout to our Baseball COD, Eli Strittmater! Eli absolutely killed it today during our kickball slip ‘n slide game! He was punishing the ball at the plate and was making plays left and right on defense. He helped make our last class with football so much F-U-N! Congrats, Eli!

As usual, Hiking had some amazing heat-beating hiker CODs! First period was Ottilia Padden! Ottilia was a true leader in hiking today. She led stretches and the pack as we crossed Cemetery Trail. Second period COD was Nathaniel Weaverling! Nathaniel was a joy to have in hiking today! He had an outstanding attitude and hiked strong through the Sweeney hills. Third period COD was Logan Payne! Logan conquered Reaction Hill and kept a smile the whole time. Logan also was a leader and showed that it is okay to sweat and exercise here at Sweeney! Fifth period COD was Stone Bishop! Stone was an outstanding hiker who was positive, energetic and passionate in hiking today. He truly conquered the Sweeney hills under the Sweeney sun! Great job to all of our Sweeney Hikers!
Our first period COD in Paintball Combat was Jonah King! For 2 sessions, he has brought the energy and been a huge help in paintball combat! He killed it in D-day! Our 2nd period COD in Paintball Combat was Willow Aja! She was an incredible assassinator in Protect the President!
The COD in Rocketry was none other than Isaiah Ortega! He finished up the session by launching two rockets to defend Sweeney from those Lake Dealey Pirates! Isaiah, along with his mentor Alex, really did an amazing job building, painting, and launching their rockets together this week!
The COD of second period Roller Hockey was Borja Amieva! Borja put in tons of work in today’s hockey game. He showed power, grit and motivation to succeed! He put his body on the line and won through perseverance ! Go Borja!
The COD of Skatepark was Willow Aja! She was a phenomenal skater at the skate park and awed the crowd with her skills and amazing enthusiasm. She also helped her fellow classmates learn to ride the ramps! Go Willow!

J.D. Casso showed up & showed out today in the biggest basketball class yet. He carried his team in 3’s & then killed it in knock-out. Absolutely stellar performance.
